Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer in the shade 001 Nude Glow.
To be honest, I was fully convinced (and so was Julia) that I’ve already done a review of this highlighter, but after checking I realised I didn’t, which is kind of shocking because I talked and used it so many times on this blog.
So since it’s a SUPER PRICEY number I thought I could share with you my review and also some DUPES if you don’t feel like spending this much on a product.
You can get the Dior Nude Glow Diorskin here for 56,00$

A bit of a funny story before starting this review: about two years ago this highlighter came out for a Spring limited edition, I wasn’t really into highlighting back then so NO WAY I could justify the purchase although I kept thinking about it. So finally one day I said: Dad lets go to Sephora, I need that highlighter or I’ll go crazy! We went and OBVIOUSLY, it was sold out insert heartbroken So when this one came out last year, I hear a YouTuber I follow ASKING the artistic director of Dior if it was the same product and he said yes, I knew I HAD TO HAVE IT! So I got it for my birthday: my two-years-ago self was so happy!
Colore
The shade I have is Nude Glow, which is a stunning champagne gold with a peachy undertone, it’s smooth and not glittery at all.
PACKAGING
The packaging is absolutely stunning and luxurious I totally love it.
It is this flat mirrored component with Dior engraved in it. It has a magnetic closure and it comes with a mirror on the inside too. The outside packaging is a pain to keep clean but other than that is stunning and really sturdy. Overall I love it.
I got it a while ago so I don’t have the outside packaging but it was a cardboard box what I kept though is the velvet pouch.
I know some people throw it away but I don’t have very many expensive things so I treasured it and it helps me to keep the mirror clean.
It also comes with a tiny kabuki brush, which I always carry with me in my bag for touch-ups on the go, I don’t use it for highlight but of course, for the price is a nice added touch. It’s very soft and it disperses powder really beautifully.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite stiff in the pan, like a baked product, but that doesn’t make the highlighter less smooth.
It has sheer coverage but it’s really easy to layer, the pigmentation is there, you just have to build it.
It never looks cakey or powdery, it doesn’t enhance texture and pores.
APPLICATION
It’s really easy to apply and to blend, it looks so beautiful on the skin.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade.
DUPES
The Balm Mary Lou Manizer: Lighter, more neutral, more buttery and pigmented. (24$)
MAC Soft And Gentle: Very similar in tone but more glittery. (31€)
RATINGS:
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 9/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 8/10
- Packaging: 10/10
GRADE: A
I love this highlighter, I love that is not as metallic as other ones I own, it makes you look radiant from the inside. It’s a very natural glow but totally buildable. The formula and the packaging are amazing too. It’s really easy to find a dupe for the colour so I don’t feel like you HAVE TO HAVE it, especially because is super expensive, although I love the whole experience of using something so fancy. It makes me feel special. That being said I recommend it but it’s not a must.

Ahahah thank you <3 xx
Wow! That is one expensive piece of make-up. You weren’t kidding when you said it was pricey. BUT it does seem like the price is worth it – from your raving review, and from the fact that it was sold out when you went to go buy it. That’s awesome you were finally able to get your hands on it!
It’s my life accomplishment ahah it was so pricey but I love it 😀

You are welcome! You can’t go wrong with Dior 😉
What a gorgeous highlight! I would love to get to try something from Dior!
They are one of my favourite brand??
This is one of my favorite face products of all time. Having a deep skin tone makes it so hard to find a highlighters that doesn’t look super ashy. I love the warm, rosy tone of this one, and it always matches my complexion perfectly. I’m so glad you were able to find it and try it!
It’s amazing! Thank you for sharing your experience ?
