Ciao Darlings, il post di oggi sarà la recensione e gli swatches dei NYX Lip Lingerie nei colori colori Embellishment e Bedtime Flirt.
Questa è una delle formule più popolari del brand e tutti i colori di questa linea sono nude: variano in sottotono ed in intensità.
Sul loro sito lo definiscono: “Effetto opaco e a lunga durata. Con l’apposito applicatore la stesura di questo lipstick è sorprendentemente semplice”.

EMBELLISHMENT

- Embellishment: è un grigio malva molto freddo.
- Bedtime Flirt: è un nude rosato scuro
PACKAGING
Il packaging è lungo e sottile in plastica dura. Il nome di ogni colore è un po’ difficile da trovare ma a parte questo mi piace molto.
FORMULA
Essendo formule diverse ve ne parlo separatamente:
Embellishment:
Detesto questo rossetto, la formula è super densa e pastosa che in qualche modo riesce ad essere cremosa e secca allo stesso tempo.
Quando viene applicato la sembra una mousse che però si asciuga e diventa completamente opaca ma purtroppo si asciuga a MACCHIE. Si raggruppa ai lati delle labbra, non è omogenea ed ha un aspetto tremendo. Oltretutto è anche appiccicosa.
Bedtime Flirt:
Mi sembra assurdo pensare che siano lo stesso prodotto, questa formula è agli antipodi: è cremosa ma opaca, leggerissima sulle labbra e confortevole. Fate attenzione però, ne basta pochissimo oppure fa i grumi.
Non è appiccicosa o secca, si applica facilmente è si fonde con le labbra diventando un tutt’uno con esse.
Non ha un profumo o un sapore particolari.
APPLICAZIONE
L’applicatore è lungo e in spugna, mi piace molto perché è preciso ma preleva troppo prodotto e lo devo pulire sul collo della boccetta.

DURATA
Embellishment: Visto che è così pastoso viene via a macchie e si stacca quasi subito, dura circa due ore su di me prima di diventare insopportabile inoltre è difficilissimo da rimuovere. Devo davvero scrubbare le labbra per toglierlo.
Bedtime Flirt: Una volta asciutto dura tutto il giorno, su di me resta per circa 7 ore prima di iniziare a svanire, ma è facile da rimuovere e da riapplicare.

Questo rossetto è una delusione. Mi piace il colore, il packaging e il fatto che non abbia un profumo intenso. Ma la formula è pastosa e a macchie, l’applicazione difficilissima perchè è troppo appiccicoso e la durata è pessima ma nonostante questo è impossibile da rimuovere. Bocciatissimo!

Adoro, adoro, adoro questo rossetto, sono felicissima di averlo preso nonostante la terribile esperienza con l’altro colore, mi piace la formula perchè è cremosa ma opaca, è un pochino complicato da applicare perchè ne va usato pochissimo altrimenti fa i grumi, ma la durata è pazzesca, non è secco e non posso che consigliarlo.

I’ve had similar problems with NYX lipsticks before. Just like the Embellishment one! But maybe it was those particular shades! Will maybe give these a shot again! thanks! xx
The shades are SO hit or miss! You can try bedtime flirt, that a really good one ? let me know what shades didn’t work for you though, I want to buy more and I’d love to avoid the misses ??
unfortunately I don’t have them anymore 🙁 I just threw them away :/ I hate having lipsticks I don’t like, otherwise I’ll be reaching for them anyways and then spend the entire day feel awful and trying to fix it when it goes bad ??

I also have the Bedtime Flirt lippie, and I love it! I have other shades of the NYX lip lingerie range, and with some, I had the same problem with the formula. It just felt gloopy and too much. But with others, it was really good! Strange that they differ so much from shade to shade!
It’s crazy how much the formula changes between each shade, but Bedtime Flirt has my heart!
They all so different on the lips compared to the swatches! Loving the colors though.

I love establishment, I also have bedroom flirt and I feel it’s a bit meh. It’s strange how the same lipstick can be totally different on other people, it’s like perfume

“Bedtime Flirt” looks so good on you! I actually really love Embellishment, but I have friends that had the same experience as you did with that shade. I do agree that it dries your lips out and crumbles, BUT I love the color so much I couldn’t give it up. I like to put a very thin layer of balm on first (my personal favorite is Aquaphor) to avoid all of this.
