Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder which came out a few months ago.
If you saw my Marc Jacobs Coconut Fantasy Collection you would know I was going to get the new one they recently came out with because I liked the packaging and the brand a lot better but when I ordered it something went wrong with my order and it never came. It was for the better though, the other day I as in Sephora with Julia and we discovered that the Too Faced one is 32$ for 35g where the Marc Jacobs one is 44$ for 8g! Shocking right!?
I’ve seen this one on Casey Holmes’s channel, she’s one of my favourite YouTubers, she has oily skin like me and she kept raving about it so I kind of had to have it.
You can get it here for 32$
It comes in a cardboard box in the prettiest peachy colour.
The pot itself is quite big and bulky but it contains A LOT of product and it’s again, so pretty, it feels quite fancy.
Inside it has a little lid that prevents the powder from coming out and go everywhere. Although it’s quite big I feel like the fact that it has a lid and that the actual pot it’s in hard plastic makes it quite travel-friendly.
The powder is very finely milled and soft, it has THE NICEST peach scent which is quite intense. I love it but it might bother you.
It’s slightly tinted but it doesn’t change the colour of your foundation or your concealer.
I like to apply it with a wet sponge, I find that this way it meshes with my skin a lot better.
It’s quite easy to apply the holes disperse the perfect amount of product and it’s not too fine to fly everywhere.
This powder looks amazing on my skin, you can see in the picture how much my pores are minimized, my face looks and feels like a rose petal especially from the distance.
It’s also very matt but it never looks cakey or powdery.
I kid you not guys, the lasting power kind of shocked me.
As you can see from the photo I have some fine lines under my eyes were my concealer likes to settle in. I am quite proud of my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer because it doesn’t settle in them super quickly but at the end of the day, I have some creasing.
If I set it with this powder I have ZERO creases, it’s kind of amazing.
I also set all over my face and I do not get oily at all, I’m talking 7/8 hours wear, with my oily skin is kind of a miracle. I’ve had a few days where I was around in the heat and when I looked in the mirror thinking I would look terrible I was shocked to notice I didn’t!
- Colour: 10/10

- Application: 9/10
- Texture: 10/10
- Pigmentation: 10/10
- Packaging: 9/10
I don’t even know what else to say, this powder is AMAZING! The only things I’m not the biggest fan of are the bulky packaging and the fact that is a loose powder because I’m super clumsy and I’m afraid to drop it. Other than that I’m OBSESSED with it. One of the best products I’ve tried in a long time.
