In today’s review we are going to chat about the Essence Velvet Matte Lipstick in the shade (03) Dusty Romance.
This is a new launch from them and I’m always curious about their lipstick because they are usually pretty good.
Since I have so many, after testing this one I gave it to my mom and she really likes it.
You can get it here for 3$ and it comes in 10 shades.
The shade is a plummy rose perfect for fall.
The packaging is very cute, it looks like an hourglass with the cup the same color as the lipstick. Of course it’s not the most fancy looking but it’s cute and it gets the job done.
The shade name is on the bottom.
It smells like cheap candy, not the most pleasant scent because it’s very fake but it’s nothing terrible.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very creamy and it glides on really easily, it is very opaque from the first coat, the finish is velvety rather than matt which makes it very comfortable and not drying at all.
The only downside I have it’s that it feels a bit grainy, I don’t know how to explain it better, it feels like there is sandy in it, it’s nothing terrible but I would keep it in mind.
This lipstick lasts for 8 hours on me, you can eat and it will stay on, doesn’t bleed, doesn’t budge but it’s not transfer proof so if you touch it a little bit will come off.
This colour stained my lips which helps with the longevity.

I really like this lipstick, I like the formula since is so creamy yet matt, I’m not a fan of the packaging and the formula is a bit grainy. The lasting power is amazing, it’s not drying and I really recommend it if you are looking for a new lipstick, it’s not a must have but it’s very nice.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
