Today’s review is going to be of the Nars Orgasm Infatuation Cheek Palette.
If you are a beauty lover like myself you know about Nars most famous product, the blush in Orgasm. This shade is supposed to look universally flattering and that’s the reason behind his popularity, the sexy name might have done the rest.
As for me this is the first time I try it, I just couldn’t justify the price for the full size since I’m not usually the biggest fan of shimmery blushes. I always wanted to try it though, I wanted to know why it was that hyped.
I love Nars face palettes because they allow me to try more products for the price of one and since I don’t usually run our of face products the fact that the pan size is slightly smaller doesn’t really bother me.
This palette also comes with the bronzer in Laguna which is one of my favourite bronzers (therefore I’m happy to have a new one) and a highlighter that is completely new (and I could always use a new highlighter).
You can get it from sephora for 42$.
It comes in a graffiti box and the actual packaging is a studded metallic rose gold. I love it. It’s gorgeous. The only downside is that is will have fingerprints all over in no time.
It has a mirror which is always nice.
Shade names and all the infos are on the back.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
It comes with three shades (from left to right):
- Laguna: it’s a medium bronzer with golden shimmer, the shade is not the most pigmented but it’s buildable, I much prefer it like this because it doesn’t get muddy.
- Orgasm (blush): it’s a pinky-peach with subtle golden shimmer, I get where the hype is, it looks beautiful on, like you are naturally flushed and it brightens the complexion beautifully. This shade too is not the most pigmented but it’s buildable.
- Orgasm (highlighter): it’s a peachy pink champagne, this highlighter is very creamy and luminous, it’s a bit more pigmented than the other two and if you put too much on it enhances the texture a bit. The shade is also a bit too dark for me but it still looks pretty.
They are not super pigmented but you can layer them and they don’t patch off. The pan size is big enough to fit brushes comfortably.
On me it lasts around 8 hours without fading.
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 9/10
- Texture: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 8/10
- Packaging: 10/10
I love this palette, it’s the perfect multi-purpose product for a natural everyday look, it’s not the most pigmented but totally builtable which again, it’s not a con at all for me. The shades are beautiful and the packaging is absolutely stunning, I love that it’s so versatile. I can see myself using it for a very long time and I also think the price is very fair.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
