In today’s post Julia and I are going to chat about the NEW Kiko Waterflower Magic Collection.
For some weird reason, we never talk about Kiko, I’ve reviewed a couple of pieces but we never chatted about their new collections. That’s changing today.
This collection is huge, there are some pieces we are not going to talk about because they are skincare and brushes, and I don’t think there’s much to say about them, skincare you have to try and brushes are just brushes so there’s not much to say but they are part of the collection and you should be able to find them in store in case you are interested.
NEITHER JULIA NOR I HAVE TESTED THIS PRODUCTS SO OUR OPINION ARE PURELY BASED ON WHAT WE KNOW FROM THE BRAND AND WHAT WE SEE ONLINE, OF COURSE WE MIGHT BE WRONG SO PLEASE IF YOU HAVE TRIED ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS
All of these products are available on kikocosmetics.com
It comes in three shades: Peach Tree (nude peach), Brown Sugar (brown peach) and Pink Shiver (peachy pink) (18$ each).
Mimi: These are so pretty, I love the first shade, I can’t wait to see it in store.
Julia: I love the first and the third shade, the second one is terrible, it looks grey.
It comes in two shades: Warm Honey and Natural Sienna (18$ each).
Mimi: I’m not much of a bronzer girl so these don’t spark my interest.
Julia: It looks nice, I like the pink packaging and that the pan is huge.
Mimi: This eyeliner terrifies me! It looks incredibly hard to use, I mean, I see what they were going for but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to control it.
Julia: It doens’t look bad, that point is interesting.
It comes in two shades: Piece Of My Heart and Sakura Wish (22$ each)
Mimi: First, those brushes are ridiculous and I would have preferred bigger pans instead of them. The shades are pretty, but you know I’m a bit of a shadow snob and I don’t like more affordable ones.
Julia: The brush is ridiculous but the shades are pretty but nothing special.
It comes in eight shades (16$)
Mimi: Ok this could be interesting but eight shades are not enough and 16$ for 15ml is way too expensive! It could be a good product but these two things are a huge turn off for me.
Julia: I’d never buy one of their foundations, I prefer more expensive ones, the shade range is ridiculous too.
Mimi: This palette reminds me a lot of the Anastasia’s ones and it’s very pretty, I like the shades, I want to see it in store, that blush looks divine.
Julia: It looks very pretty, it really looks like the Anastasia one, the only thing is that maybe I won’t use all the shades because they might be too dark.
It comes in six shades: Silky Sand (nude), Rose Dreams (pink nude), Think Orchid (purple pink), Touch Of Coral (coral), Enjoy The Red (red), Sweet Paprika (dark brown) (10$ each).
Mimi: They look like the essence ones and those are 2$. I wouldn’t pay 10$ for a lip pencil that looks that cheap, sorry.
Julia: Pretty, nothing new.
It comes in three shades: Kiss The Sky (periwinkle), Watermelon Field (coral), Mauve Infusion (dark mauve) (6$ each).
Mimi: The first colour is GORGEOUS! I really want it.
Julia: I like the packaging and the blue shade is pretty.
Mimi: I’m a sucker for this kind of things, I want this.
Julia: Not my kind of product.
It comes in three shades: Naked Soul (nude), A Kind Of Red (pink-red), Miss Tangerine (pink-orange) (12$ each).
Mimi: These really don’t appeal me to be honest.
Julia: These look pretty but I won’t use them.
Mimi: This would be really cute to carry around to touch up powder on the go. Will have to see about the formula.
Julia: I don’t use powders so this is not for me.
It comes in six shades: Silky Sand (nude), Rose Dreams (pink nude), Think Orchid (purple pink), Touch Of Coral (coral), Enjoy The Red (red), Sweet Paprika (dark brown) (12$ each).
Mimi: Again another product that doesn’t really appeal me, I don’t like pigmented lip glosses like these.
Julia: I really don’t like this kind of lip product that doesn’t dry and I don’t like the shades either.
