Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencil in Dimension Dark Brown.
I got this pencil as part of a Sephora kit but this is one of the few items in it that is full size so I’m excited to review it for you.
Ages ago Make Up For Ever pencil were so popular and I used to have the black one which I really loved, I also still have a bronze one that I’ve used in the past here on the blog which I think is not available anymore because they recently came out with these new versions.
You can get it from Sephora for 18$.
The shade is a very dark brown.
The packaging is very classic of an eyeliner but I like that the bottom shows you the shade and the fact that it looks like a school pencil.
It’s a classic pencil that you have to sharpen, I usually prefer the twist up ones.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very stiff, but it’s still easy to apply since it’s quite pigmented.
I love to use it as an eyeshadow base to make smokey eyes more vibrant. You can blend it easily and it doesn’t create too many patches.
It works really well in the waterline too, since it’s stiffer it tends to last better there.
On me this lasts about 8 hours, it doesn’t stamp on the lid which is very impressive.

I like this eyeliner, I love the colour, the packaging and the way it applies. I think the lasting power is amazing too. Overall I’m very impressed, it’s a bit hard to use it to draw a precise line but you can easily use a brush and you are done. I like it in the waterline too. Since it’s so pricey it’s not a must for me but I’m glad I have it.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
