In today’s post, I’m going to review the Fenty Beauty Flyliner.
I got a mini version in a kit from Sephora which is not available for sale, you have to get the full size. This one I have is a little less than half size.
So when this eyeliner came out I wanted to get it because it was Fenty’s but somehow I never did so I’m excited to share my thoughts with you.
I’ve had a really bad first experience with it but I found out the best way to make it work, I still prefer the Benefit one I reviewed last week though.
You can get it from Sephora for 20$.
The packaging is very pretty, I love the metallic rose gold. I don’t have the original box because, as I said, this was part of a kit but I suppose it comes in the classic graffiti box.
It’s a felt tip liner which I definitely love, although I’m used to having a brush, I prefer the felt tip.
I find the felt tip quite easy to use but it’s too small and it almost makes it harder to be precise because you have to go on the line over and over to make it bigger.
The formula is very liquidy, YOU HAVE TO SHAKE IT WELL BEFORE APPLYING IT, and it tends to bleed a little bit on me. You can clearly see it in the pictures.
It’s very black but too shiny for my tastes, I much prefer a matte formula.
When I use liquid liner I tend to skip primer so it has to last well without it (on me that’s a mission).
This liner lasted 8 hours but it tends to bleed when you put it on so if you look close you see the lines.
- Colour: 7/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Application: 6/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Comfort: 9/10
- Packaging: 9/10
This eyeliner is nice, I like the formula and the packaging but it bleeds on me, at least a tiny bit which it’s quite disappointing, I don’t like the tiny tip because it makes it harder to use for me and it’s too shiny. It lasts well. It’s a nice liner but I definitely like the Benefit one more.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
