Today’s review is going to be of the MAC Boom, Boom, Bloom Lipstick in Wagasa Twirl.
Oh my, I can’t even express how excited I was for this collection to come out, the packaging totally sold me in and I probably wouldn’t have bought the lipstick if it wasn’t for the packaging because I mean, look at it, is there a packaging more me than this?
I’ve been waiting for this collection to come out, I’ve been on MAC’s website every day in the past couple of weeks and then I randomly saw it at the mall where the lady told they’ve just put it out. Excited to the max.
You can get it on maccosmetics.com for 19,50$
On the website, the shade is described as Dirty Blue Pink With Pearls and it’s a Matte finish. I’m not entirely sure why they say it has pearls in it, it doesn’t it’s completely matte.
The packaging is the exact same as every MAC Lipstick but it’s white with cherry blossom petals all over and a soft pink iridescent effect. Instead of silver, the metal details of the lipstick are rose gold.
The shade name is written on the bottom in the usual MAC style.
It comes in a really pretty box with the shame cherry blossom details which I really like.
The scent is the classic vanilla one, one of my favourite.
As the name would suggest it’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.
It’s very comfortable to wear and it’s not drying whatsoever despite being matte.
It lasted 5 hours on me without eating, but it fades very nicely.

I love this lipstick, I like the effect and the colour, it feels beautiful on the lips. I love the packaging and honestly, there is not much to say. It’s not the most original shade but I’ve been wearing it everyday so I recommend it if you are on the hunt for a new everyday shade for Spring. It’s pinker than what I usually go for but it’s very flattering.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
