Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded.
As you might know, the original Naked is not on sale anymore and they put out this new version instead of that. When the first Naked came out I was already in to make up and it was the first palette I’ve ever bought. Took me forever to save enough to get it and I was so sad when decided to discontinue it.
I got this new version mainly because my first Naked is like ten years old, I’m not throwing it away but I don’t use it either and in my opinion, the two versions were different enough.
I don’t think this one will have the same success as the first one, but I wanted to see if it was a good replacement.
You can get it from Sephora for 44$
PACKAGING
The packaging is the same long and skinny one as the other Naked palettes. It is made of silk and it feels amazing and luxurious.
There are 12 completely new shades inside and the first and the last two are slightly bigger.
- Bribe/Blur: 2 x 1.4g
- Barely Baked/Boundaries: 2 x 1.3g
- All the other shades: 8 x 1.1g
This is definitely something I appreciate since those are the shades I use the most.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
There are four mattes, four shimmers, two glitters and two satins.
All the shades have high pigmentation, most of them are really creamy and easy to blend.
I prefer to use the shimmers with your finger (or with a wet brush) they just work better like this and you won’t get a lot of fall down.
The mattes blend beautifully. You definitely get a great selection of colours to create a lot of different looks.
APPLICATION
Angel Fire and Dreamweaver have a lot of all down so you have to use them wet or with glitter glue. Especially Dreamweaver is very crumbly and powdery.
Both Boundaries and End Game will look matte when you apply them but they have tiny specks of glitter that make them easier to blend.
SWATCH
I’ve used Blur to set the primer, Bucked and Boundaries mixed together in the crease, End Game in the outer corner, Angel Fire all over the lid. On the lower lashline, I’ve used Reputation and End Game. On the browbone, I’ve put Bribe.
Full Look: Cherry Blossom Look #MakeupMonday
I’ve used Bucked and End Game in the crease, Distilled in the inner and outer corner and on the lower lash line, Dreamweaver in the central part of the lids, Angel Fire in the tear duct.
I’ve used Retro in the crease, Barely Baked all over the lid, Burn on the upper and lower lash line and Bribe in the inner corner.
LASTING POWER
With a primer, they last about 8 hours before fading.

GRADE: A
This palette is really nice, I like the shade range because is neither too cool nor too warm and I think is a good replacement for the Naked. The formula is good and standard for Urban Decay. I love that the most used shades are bigger and overall the packaging is stunning. I don’t mind to use my fingers for the glitters but I’m sure that it would be a problem for some people. If you are looking for a new neutral palette I think this is a good option.

I’m a fan of Urban Decay (although I am allergic to their eyeliners). I really love the shades in this palette.
That’s awful! Hopefully the shadows are not a problem xx
Ohh, I love these!! Obsessed with Urban Decay 🙂 So so pretty
So pretty do
I’m mostly a matte girl, but I am loving the Angel Fire. I like enough of the shades to get me one.
I literally adore Angel Fire! It’s my fave of the palette
Beautiful looks! Not sure if I’m going to splurge on this one yet, although it looks lovely.
I mainly got it to review it but I have to say I’m kind of really into it. Most of my “neutral palettes” like actually neutral are quite old so it’s nice to have something fresh xx
Naked pallets are my favorite! I was so sad when the OG palette was discontinued. I like that the base shades are bigger in the new version, though! I always run out of those first.
I agree they did a smart thing with those shades xx
I’m not much into beauty products but it’s an interesting read!
Thanks ?
I love this palette, but I still need to learn how to use it 🙁
Ahahah it’s very easy to use!
Love the looks you created with this! Beautiful shades (:
Thank you xx
Love the colours in this pallete! I’ve got the naked 2 pallete and it’s the best xx
