Ciao Darlings, il post di oggi sarà la recensione e lo swatch del Nars Orgasm Liquid Highlighter.
Questa tinta fa parte della NARS Orgasm Collection di quest’anno e può essere usato da solo o mixato con il fondotinta.
Questo è il secondo anno che Nars fa uscire una collezione dedicata al colore Orgasm, l’anno scorso ho preso il Nars Afterglow Lip Balm che non vedo l’ora di usare di nuovo quest’anno.

COLORE
Il colore Orgasm è abbastanza iconico per Nars, in caso non lo conosceste è un rosa pesca con i riflessi dorati che dono quasi a tutti i tipi di carnagione.
PACKAGING
Siamo di fronte ad un trionfo di oro rosa a partire dalla scatola fino alla boccetta in se, è particolarmente pesante e resistente, mi piace.
Per aprirlo basta girare il tappino e la parte superiore si alza per permettervi di usare la pipetta.
La boccetta contiene 15ml di prodotto e per quel prezzo è davvero poco.
APPLICAZIONE
Il dosatore è carino ma probabilmente il mio è difettoso perchè è un po’ duro da premere e finisce sempre per uscirne troppo e finire ovunque.
Potete applicarlo con le dita, o un pennello o una spugnetta.
FORMULA
Questo prodotto è terribile. La formula è incredibilmente oleosa e trasparente, non è shimmer per niente. Ho provato a metterlo in tanti modi diversi e uno solo funziona.
- Mixato con il fondotinta: dalla foto vedete benissimo che visto che è così oleoso non si mixa bene con il fondotinta. Ho provato con vari prodotti ma il risultato è lo sempre stesso.
- Come illuminante: Proprio come il primo metodo, anche in questo caso appena viene applicato sopra il fondotinta lo dissolve creando delle zone vuote, come vedete in foto.
- Da solo: purtroppo, neanche questo metodo è giusto, perchè non è abbastanza luminoso quindi neanche si nota. Come vedete una volta sfumato è praticamente invisibile.
- Mixato ad una crema idratante: questo è l’unico modo in cui mi piace, mi piace la luminosità leggera che da al viso una volta sfumato.
Durata
Siccoma appena applicato ha rovinato la mia base non ho potuto indossarlo per provarne la durata.

Questo illuminante è tremendo, il packaging è scomodo da usare e decisamente troppo piccolo. La formula è terribile e non si riesce ad usare perchè rovina il makeup. Mi piace mixato alla crema ma il prezzo è comunque troppo alto per essere usato solo così. Bocciatissimo.

Awww bummer I usually love NARS product, but I appreciate your honesty. That highlighter is too expensive not to be one of the best to buy on the market. I usually love highlighter, but based on your review, I won’t be looking into this one.

They are my favourite brand, so yeah, their blushes are amazing, the Laguna bronzer is incredible, the sheer glow foundation and I also love their lipglosses

I honestly don’t know how I feel about a liquid highlighter. I tend to stick to my powders and this is even more reason to do so.

I totally thought this was nail polish and honestly I was like , “Wow that is a really great color”. The peachy pink with a gold reflex looked great for nail polish LOL. I am so sorry you did not like the highlighter. I am grateful we get to learn from experience. Awesome. D-. Got it. Stay away.

Yeah I agree with you. I think the compact powder blush one is better. It is too sheer and not good on the skin if the skin itself is not perfect.
The blush one is so much better, this one has such a weird formula!
