Do you remember the first beauty product you have ever bought?
Mimi: I do, it was a blue gloss from Lancome, I don’t even know why I got a blue gloss, but I used to use it all the time, it had the nicest vanilla scent and I was so young maybe 9 or 10 when I got it, I paid 13€ for it (basically all I had)
I recently found out that it was the Lancome Juicy Tube in Dreamland and apparently these glosses were a big thing back then, in the early days of the beauty community. I really had no idea, but I guess I was trendy even back then.
Julia: I don’t remember exactly what the first product was but I remember the first time I spent more than 3€ for a make up product.
Mimi and I were at the mall and she bought a Pupa Lipstick, it was from the Very Vintage Collection and it was shade 03. At one point we went to the restroom and she put it on, well I fell in love with it so we went back and I bought it too. Problem was that it looked amazing on her but it was terrible on me.
(Mimi intermission: It was terrible on me too)

My very first beauty purchase was LipSmackers chapstick (if that even counts lol). My first prestige purchase was from Fashion Fair and it was a lipstick called Rum Raisin. I loved it!

My first real makeup purchase that I recall (I used to buy lip gloss a lot as a child) was the Maybelline Blushed Nudes eyeshadow palette. I thought it was really good but looking back, it’s not that great!
Yeah drugstore palettes are not that great ???
growing up, it was a big deal to own a Victoria’s secret lip gloss. That was my first product. O

Oh gosh, I honestly don’t remember! But perhaps it was either Gilt by Association Pro Long-wear Eyeshadow from MAC or Lola Lola Eyeshadow by NARS.

It was one of my absolute favorites!! I used to dig my finger in and just swipe it all over my eyes ?. I didn’t know what a brush was back then!
Nars arrived here 5/6 years ago and I was so jealous of people in the states who could get it while I was here lusting ahahah
NARS is great. And I’m jealous that we can’t get Kiko or Bourjois in-store over here! ?
Technically bourjois was available but got discontinued like 10 years ago and now it’s in stores again. Kiko is not my favourite honestly, way overpriced for the quality but my teenage self loved it
I used to shop Bourjois when I went overseas in airports and places like that. But I don’t travel as much as I used to! Wow, really? Most Kiko products I’ve tried I’ve liked a lot! To me their prices aren’t too bad either.
It used to be wet and wild cheap when I was younger so whatever price they have now it’s too expensive compared to that and I don’t think the quality has improved that much honestly

Mine was purple eyeshadow.It came in the same type of dispenser as my lipgloss. Oh, how I loved that eyeshadow!

The first beauty product I ever bought was probably a bottle of cologne. But if you are talking about the first one given to me, a friend got me hair dye a long time ago as a gag gift. Was funny. And yes I did try it out.

I don’t remember which one was my favourite product I bought but the first one that was given to me was a Terracotta from Guerlain, I think my father gifted it to me !
