Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be about the NEW Haus Laboratories makeup line which is a new brand by Lady Gaga.
I’ve talked about my love for Lady Gaga a few times already but honestly, Julia and I have been Little Monsters since before it was cool. If I did the math correctly, we have been loving Gaga for over 10 years.
So, of course, we were incredibly excited to finally have a make up line by her, even if we both think she’s a bit late to the party.
The line isn’t out until September 30th but you can pre-order it now and it’s exclusive to Amazon.
Haus Laboratories: Products
This first launch includes: six lip glosses, six lip liners and six all-over powders which you can get in premade kits.
The kits include either two powders, two pencils or two lip glosses that follow a theme. Or there are bigger kits that include a lip liner, a gloss and an all-over powder, again, following a theme.
For the Le Riot Lip Gloss we have the shades:
- Entranced (sheer with light pink pearl)
- Scream (burgundy wine)
- Corset (peach neutral)
- Venus (peachy pink)
- Attitude (terracotta with golden pearl)
- Blaze (rose)
For the RIP Lip Liner we have the shades:
- En Pointe (peach neutral)
- Ride (mid-tone rose)
- Drag (mid-tone plum)
- Rule (spiced terracotta)
- Mith (mid-tone neutral mauve)

For the Glam Liquid Shimmer Powder we have the shades:

OUR THOUGHTS
Mimi: I definitely have mixed opinions on this collection. On one side, I don’t think is anything new and original and I feel like Gaga could have done SO MUCH BETTER.
But on the other end, the Haus Of GODDESS kit is my kind of kit and I really want it!
I don’t really love the duos.
Julia: I like them all because the colours are stunning, like HAUS of Rose B*tch is beautiful.
However
- They cost too much, as usual.
- I am not convinced by the idea of a kit with these three products, I think is a bit out of trend.
Not into the duos too.

Hmm, kinda skeptical about Gaga’s new brand. I agree that I think she’s late to the party, but if the products are good that’s all that really matters.
But I’m with you; this doesn’t look like anything particularly exciting. Haus of Goddess would be my first choice too!
I know this is an Amazon exclusive, but I think this could really benefit from being in-store somewhere so customers could swatch and play. I’ll wait till I start hearing reviews first before I dive in on this one, I think.
I feel like she’s trying to be unconvetional with the fact that she only has these kits but at the end of the day they are pretty basic especially when you break them down. It’s hard to not compare it to Fenty but honestly, I feel like the beauty world really switched with Rihanna where as I could literally grab the same products from NYX and create these looks.
I’m not the most creative person and if I find these boring what would a more creative person say? I just don’t get it, hopefully the qualtity is bomb but again. I can get the same products from NYX and be totally happy with them!
Yea I hear you. Let’s see what she comes out with going forward. Maybe this is just a warm-up for things to come! (Hopefully)

I actually purchased the Haus of Dynasty set, I really love the lip gloss but I totally agree with you, it’s nothing creative and I am sure I can find the same products anywhere. I also agree that she’s late in the game. The beauty market is so saturated at the moment!!
I’ll probably end up buying something too to be honest, not for the product just for her. I’m sure I’ll be very good
