Ciao Darlings, il post di oggi sarà la recensione e lo swatch del Essence Fresh & Fit Healthy Glow Foundation.
Adoro provare fondotinta economici e credo che essence con questo qui abbia davvero creato qualcosa di valido. Per un fondotinta da 5€ non è male. Come al solito con Essence il problema principale è che ci sono pochi colori.
La descrizione dice: “Arricchito con complesso vitaminico e acqua di mirtilli rossi, il fondotinta “sferza” l’incarnato donando un aspetto sano, grazie ai pigmenti luce riflettenti”.

PACKAGING
La boccetta è fatta di vetro e ha una pompetta. Contiene 30ml di prodotto che è lo standard per i fondotinta.
Non sono una grande fan della bottiglietta di vetro: ha un bell’aspetto elegante ma personalmente sono un po’ imbranata e ho sempre paura di romperla.
Apprezzo la pompetta perchè è la confezione più igenica.
FORMULA & COPRENZA
La formula è piuttosto densa, la coprenza è media-alta. Il finish è naturale e rende la pelle liscissima.
Una cosa che mi ha decisamente impressionata è il modo in cui si fonde con la pelle, ha un effetto naturalissimo ma minimizza i pori senza essere pesante.
Ne basta davvero poco.
EFFETTO
Questo fondotinta è stupendo sulla mia pelle, mi piace che il finish sia naturale, sembra la mia pelle al nuda.
Se ne applicate troppo però, potrebbe risultare un po’ pastoso e pesante.
APPLICAZIONE
Il mio metodo di applicazione preferito è prima con le dita e poi con una spugnetta bagnata, in questo modo il fondotinta si fonde perfettamente con la pelle.
Il colore 20 è perfetto per me il che è fantastico visto che ci sono solo quatto colori. Sono fortunata.
DURATA
Questo fondotinta dura circa 4 ore senza ritoccarlo.

Questo fondotinta mi piace, è perfetto per la vita di tutti i giorni se cearcate un prodotto full-coverage non troppo opaco. Mi piace il finish satinato ma personalmente preferisco una coprenza più leggera. Mi piace anche il packaging, nonostante abbia un po’ paura di romperlo ma apprezzo la pompetta. La selezione di colori fa pena.

Very affordable brands for sure, and even top-tier brands like Chantecaille don’t always have the best choice either, which I definitely don’t understand!
I feel like big brands don’t care and small brands save money (?) it’s still ridiculous. I think catrice is doing a better job so since they are owned by the same factory maybe essence will improve too ????
My theory, at least with the pricier brands, is that they only produce what they’re already selling and not what they could sell, if that makes sense. They have data on who their customers are, where they generally live, perhaps even what their median income is, etc. So they just produce shades that they know fit into those buckets. I know that’s super cynical, but it’s just my theory! And I wouldn’t put any brands or companies above it.

It looks really good! I’d love to try! Though, because I have very fair skin, if the shade range is small, there probbly won’t be my skin colour hahaha ?
They have a shade lighter than this so that will probably match you ?

I’ve looked for foundation like this for long time. I’m interested with the texture and has a natural look because i must be careful when I dicide the colour foundation for my skin that has yellow skin tone. Thanks for sharing anyway.. This article is really helpful for me

Loved the shades. I learned a new think of dabbing with a damp sponge for blending. Will have to apply that.
That’s the best technique in my opinion!
It’s annoying that the shade range isn’t good! Sounds like it’s got a fairly good formula though xx
