Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Smashbox Photo Edit Eyeshadow Trio in the shade # Repost.
I have to explain this, I have a Smashbox display at work, that’s why I’m talking so much about the brand lately. I’ve always loved their products but since they are not at Sephora here in Italy, I’ve never gravitated around them, I mean, until now.
I was in a creative rut the other day and I was looking at the display, playing with some products trying to find some inspiration and I’ve stumbled upon this stunning trio.
You can get the Smashbox # Repost Photo Edit Eyeshadow Trio here for 22$
There are three shades in this trio and I feel like they look different in the pan than they are swatched.
- Sparkle Pony is ivory with a pink shift
- Say What is a shimmery lilac
- Stormy is a plummy brown with a duo-chrome shift.
The packaging is so cute, it’s inspired by cameras’ lens, it’s thin and travel-friendly.
All the info is on the back. If you peel the back sticker you’ll get a look you can create with the palette.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth especially when you swatch it, it has medium pigmentation.
It’s very nice and easy to use. It doesn’t have any fallout and it’s not too chalky, it’s easy to blend and it almost feels like a cream.
The shades selection is stunning and each colour is so unique.
This is the look they recommend behind the packaging.
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to crease.
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 10/10
- Application: 9/10
- Texture: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 10/10
- Packaging: 9/10
I don’t know what to say, I love this trio. The shade range, the pigmentation, the blendability and packaging. I love it. I have so many eyeshadows but these colours are so unique I needed it in my collection. I’m going to use it a lot to create some night looks.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
