Hi Darlings, in today’s post Julia and I are going to chat about the NEW Hourglass Ghost Collection.
This is the first time we talk about Hourglass but honestly, it arrived only recently in Italy and they don’t come out with very original products so since their best seller are best sellers for a reason it didn’t make sense to review them.
Add to that that everything is incredibly expensive and it explains why I’ve never talked about it.
Anyway, today we chat about their holiday collection (again too early) but it looks lovely and we wanted to share it with you.
Hourglass Ghost Collection: PRODUCTS
They came out with four products: a six pan face palette, a four pan face palette, an eyeshadow kit and a lipstick kit.
Ghost Ambient Lighting Edit Face Palette (80$)
Ghost Ambient Lighting Blush Palette (58$)
Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow Holiday Trio (46$)
It comes with three shades:
- Foil (gold)
- Ray (deep champagne)
- Molten (plum violet)
Ghost Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo (36$)
It comes with two shades:
- I Cherish (cool pink nude)
- You Inspire (deep mulberry)
Hourglass Ghost Collection: OUR THOUGHTS
MIMI: To be honest, this collection is beautiful. I want to try their face powders and I think the big palettes are the way to go because you get better value for money but I think this year packaging looks cheap.
I haven’t seen it in store but it looks like the back part is transparent which makes it look cheap. I hope I’m wrong. I don’t particularly like the blush palette because I think the shades will be all very similar.
The eyeshadow kit is what I want the most, it looks beautiful and I’d totally use all three. Lipstick kit looks nice too but maybe not something I need.
JULIA: I like the shades of the lipstick but I wouldn’t buy it. The eyeshadow kits look beautiful, especially because they look very creamy and I’d love to try them.
The palettes again look beautiful but I personally am not a fan of baked products but the colours look stunning. I love the marble effect on them and the packaging is gorgeous.

Hourglass is very pricey but they make amazing products. Their Ambient Lighting Powders are absolutely beautiful! Dare I say, I think they are worth the money too. Plus they make liquid lipsticks that are great too. Those Scattered Light shadows look to die for!
I’m definitely putting the palette with the three powders in my Christmas wish list, maybe Santa will bring them to me, I’m so curious ahhah

I haven’t tried this brand yet, but the eyeshadows look absolutely fabulous!
I really love how there is a mixture of colors for the face and blush palette. I want to try these to see how they look on my skin!
The eyeshadow kit looks amazing. The colors are beautiful and I would use the three. The lipstick kit looks awesome and I will definitely look out for it.

It’s my first time reading about this brand but I must say the shades appeal to me. I love that I can see how the products look on fair and dark skin because many brands just don’t work on darker skin tones. I want those lipsticks and eye shadows for my next birthday 🙂
