Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Shiseido Aura Dew in Cosmic 03 and Solar 02.
Pretty sure this is the first product I try from Shiseido and I have to 100% blame my former store manager and adored friend Martina for this (she’s reading so I have to be nice).
She’s obsessed with these and me being the glitter chaser that I am I couldn’t resist. I just love cream eyeshadows.
They actually aren’t just eyeshadows, they can be used on face and lips as well.
You can get them from Sephora for 25$ each.
Solar 02

COLOUR
- Solar 02 is a champagne gold.
- Cosmic 03 is a rose gold.
PACKAGING
The packaging is a thick glass jar. The shade name is written on the back. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.
You get a plastic cover you have to keep otherwise the product might crumble.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is a creamy mousse, if you press it you’ll leave your fingerprint.
They are very pigmented and shiny but the colours aren’t as saturated as they look in the jar. You can layer them or sheer them out.
They are quite glittery and when you put them on the have the most amazing wet glow but they aren’t chunky at all. I don’t wear them on the lips but I love to use Solar 02 on my face as a highlighter.
You can use either your fingers or a brush to put them on. They work amazingly both ways.

LASTING POWER
I always have to wear an eye primer or my makeup won’t last a minute. Even with cream shadows but I feel like most people would want to use it without.
- WITHOUT Primer: This shadow lasted for 6 hours on me before starting to crease. I have extremely oily lids so I was pleasantly surprised.
- WITH Primer: This shadow was bulletproof. I had it on for 12 hours and it was still perfect. If something it got even better.

These eyeshadows are stunning. I’ve been using them so much is not even funny and I’m so in love with them. They are insanely easy to use, super blinding and long-lasting. I love to use Cosmic on the eyes and Solar as a highlighter all over the face. They work perfectly from day to night. If you are looking for something quick to use daily you’ll love them.

The colour looks very dense in the jar but much lighter when on your eyes. I like it. I also like that it lasts so long even without primer.

Shiseido products are always good. I loved the creamy mousse one. With my nephew’s marriage approaching I would really need some good make up materials.
I’m glad you listed the staying power both with and without primer because that does make a big difference for a lot of us. I always have to use primer myself but my daughter does not. Beautiful shades btw.
