Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Pillow Plump XXL Lip Plumping Gloss in Pinkwell.
Soap & Glory is pretty much impossible to get in Italy, but I heard great things about their makeup and I tried some skincare products when I went to Berlin a few years ago.
My Sister Claire spent a week in New York this Summer so I asked her to pick this gloss up for me because it’s supposed to be one of the best volumizing glosses.
You can get it from Ulta for 13$
It is a peachy pink shade.
The bottle is made of plastic and it is a squeeze tube with a silicone applicator.
On the box, you get some explanation on how it works.
It smells like mint and honey. I’m not a fan of honey so I don’t like it.
It’s very glossy, but not sticky, It doesn’t settle into fine lines.
Now about the volumizing effect. It works amazingly but it’s freaking painful. It burns and your lips feel kind of numb like when your leg falls asleep. I honestly love it.
I can actually see the effect and how much it works and it’s also fun to experience. Of course, when I say painful I don’t really mean terribly painful but I wasn’t expecting that kind of effect.
I like the silicone applicator, it gets quite messy but it’s pretty easy to clean.
On me, it lasts about 3 hours and the tingly effect lasts the same amount of time. It doesn’t fade.

I like this gloss, I like the effect and the colour, it is really easy to apply and I don’t really mind the burn. It’s very intense though, just be aware of it. I can’t believe how volumizing it is and that it doesn’t enhance fine lines. If you are looking for very effective volumizing gloss this is amazing and not too pricey. Only thing I don’t love is the honey smell but I can get past that.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
