Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Chanel Éclat Magnétique De Chanel Illuminating Powder in the shade Metallic Peach.
This is part of their Chanel Les Ornements De Chanel Holiday 2019 Collection and in my opinion the most appealing item.
This highlighter is limited edition and it only comes in one shade. You can get it from Chanel website for 70$.
Despite the name Metallic Peach, I find it more of a pinky champagne. It’s a very flattering colour.
The packaging is absolutely stunning and luxurious I totally love it.
It comes in a cardboard box and a velvet pouch. I know some people throw it away but I like to keep it, makes me feel real fancy!
It also comes with a tiny brush, which, for the price, is a nice added touch. It’s very soft and it disperses powder really beautifully.
The design on the powder itself is stunning and incredibly chic.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite stiff in the pan and a bit powdery, I feel like it looks better swatched than it does when you apply it with a brush.
It has sheer coverage and you have to layer it which it’s a bit of a waste for such an expensive product, especially because the result on it’s quite underwhelming and bland.
It doesn’t enhance texture and pores.
On me, it lasts around 6 hours before starting to fade.

- Packaging: 10/10
This highlighter is such a disappointment. It looks beautiful but it’s so damn expensive I want the perfect quality from it. The formula is very bland, it looks good swatched but if you use a brush is very sheer and almost invisible. The lasting power isn’t satisfying too. This highlighter is 70$ and it’s really not worth it.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
