Che ne pensi degli influencer/YouTuber che creano linee di makeup?
Mimi: Penso sia fantastico che influencer/YouTuber stiano creando linee di makeup. Loro sono a metà tra le persone comuni e i brand perciò sanno quello che le persone cercano nei prodotti e le ascoltano, cosa che secondo me la maggior parte dei brand non fa.
Sarà per questo che alcuni dei miei prodotti preferiti per la vita di tutti giorni sono stati creati da youtuber come il mio Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Mannequin (qui la review) o la mia nuova Tati Beauty Textured Neutral Vol.1 Eyeshadow Palette (qui la review)
Julia: Penso che sia una cosa positiva, sia per loro che per gli altri, loro perché realizzano un sogno e noi perché di alcuni di loro sappiamo di poterci fidare.
Per esempio, adoro i miei Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick e la qualità è pazzesca.

Well I would trust on influencers coz I know they understand the choices and preferences of individuals. They really help us in identifying and selecting the right product. Your blog has been doing a great job.

I like that influencers are making makeup brands. Some of this influencers makeup brands are mos environment friendly than this hi end brands.

I love that influencers are making makeup now. I find that I can identify better with an influencer than I can with a brand, so a product made by an influencer feels more trustworthy to me.

I think that when they put their heart and soul into it, they really research and produce the best products, it’s a good thing. They know what the people really want so it’s a good move on their part like Tati. Now if it’s lousy and they just put their names on the brand, that’s when things get iffy.
I trusted Tati for years and I have to say, her palette is one of the best I’ve ever tried!
I might not have experience with makeup but I think it’s good because as Julia said, they can be trusted as you watch their daily life and get a perspective on it. They always explain their products to the audience which amazing thing in my opinion.

Ironically I know some big names like Joffree Star or Jaclyn Hill because of their makeup lines or collaborations with brands. But I don’t follow Youtube influencers, I just don’t find them relatable. Otherwise if a new brand pops up in my feed, I don’t really care if it’s from an influencer or not. Wayne Goss or Lisa Eldridge were known as MUAs way before Youtube and the fact that they got their makeup line makes sense to me.
