Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in the shade 337 Camelia Rose.
Chanel recently came out with these Camelia Lipsticks in eight shades, four Rouge Allure Velvets and four Rouge Allure. Today I’m talking about those.
In detail, I’m going over the shade 337 Camelia Rose but I’ve swatched the other three too and I can tell you they all perform the same. One of them is more of a lip balm and it’s completely transparent, that’s why you can barely see it.
You can get them from Chanel for 40$
This shade is a light nude pink.
The packaging is gorgeous, it is black and sleek with a gold Camelia on the cap. This is my favourite kind of packaging. I love the luxurious feel.
If you never had a Chanel lipstick, to open it, you have to press one side and the lipstick pops up.
The smell is very neutral and it’s nice.
It’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines. While I love that formula for the nude, it scares the hell out me in the dark one because I’m always afraid it would run all over the face.
It doesn’t do that but I have to be careful which is stressful.
The Rouge Allure finish is very creamy and pigmented. It’s very comfortable to wear and but a bit drying.
After a while, the glossiness goes away and they look like a stain.
The other shades:
Since it is so creamy it is not the most long lasting lipstick, I’d say that even if it stains it lasts for about 4 hours.
- Colour: 8/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Packaging: 10/10
- Pigmentation: 10/10
- Comfort: 7/10
- Scent: 8/10
This lipstick is really nice, I like the effect and the colour, it feels beautiful on the lips. I love the packaging and honestly, there is not much to say. They are not the most original shades but I’ve been wearing the nude a lot so I recommend it if you are on the hunt for a new everyday shade that’s a bit more luxurious.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
