Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Nars Hyped Eyeshadow Palette.
When the Nars Studio 54 Collection came out I fell completely in love with this palette but with new products coming out every day I’ve forgotten about it.
A couple of weeks back though, it was on sale for 30% on Sephora Italia’s website so I thought: why not?
Nars is my favourite brand but this was my first time trying their eyeshadows.
You can get it from Nars website for 59$
This palette comes in a black box with golden details.
The palette itself has glitter and stars on top and I personally like it. I mean it’s a bit tacky but beautifully done and sturdy.
It’s very compact and easy to carry around but I don’t like that shade names are on the back and not under each shade and maybe is a bit too small.
It features twelve shades: 5 shimmers, one glitter and six mattes.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
All the shades have a medium to high pigmentation, they are really creamy and easy to blend. They don’t have much fall down, even the glitters.
Mattes: are insanely buttery and easy to blend, this is the kind of formula you can’t screw up because it blends itself.
Shimmers: again really buttery and easy to blend.
Glitter: is beautiful. Creamy, not chunky at all and it barely has any fall down.
All the shades blend easily with brushes but the shimmery ones work best if you use your fingers and you press them on.
I used the second colour (Shake Shake Shake) on the lid and the second to last (Last Party) on top of it. I’ve put the fourth (Ring My Bell) and the third (Doctor Love) in the crease and lower lashline.
I used the first colour (We Are Family) in the first half of the lid and the eighth (Love Train) in the second half. I’ve put the fourth (Ring My Bell) and the third (Doctor Love) in the crease. With the third to last shade (Hot Stuff), I created a winged eyeliner shape on the upper and lower lash line which I’ve deepened with the black (White Horse), going back to blend it multiple times.
With a primer, they last about 8 hours before creasing.

This palette is beautiful. I love the colour story and it really inspires me. The formula of the eyeshadows is amazing, the shimmers require a bit of layering but they are beautiful. I really like the packaging but maybe the pans are a bit too small. Honestly, I think 59$ it’s a bit expensive but if you find a deal as I did, it’s an amazing palette I highly recommend.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
