Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift Mascara.
I’ve seen the AD for this mascara everywhere on Instagram lately and although I was curious I didn’t mean to try it.
When I was in Genoa though, my cousin specifically asked me if I tried it, very kindly ordered me to and to let her know if it was any good. So, since I’m an amazing cousin, as soon as I arrived home I got it from Amazon and here we are.
This is the newest launch by them and part of the Falsies range which is usually pretty good.
You can get it from Ulta for 10,49$.
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty classic for a mascara.
The brush is made in soft bristles and it reminds me of an hourglass, I usually like this shape.
FORMULA
The formula is quite liquidy and very black, if you are not careful it tends to transfer on your lids when you apply it.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I always do two coats to get the best results.
I think this mascara is very bland: it doesn’t do much for my lashes, it doesn’t really lengthen or volumize them nor I find it particularly good at holding a curl.
As you can see from the pictures the effect is simply not there, my lashes just look more black.
LASTING POWER
The lasting power is ok but if you barely tear up it’s going to smudge. I don’t normally have issues with my mascara lasting and this was quite annoying
I find it fairly easy to remove with micellar water, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

Sadly, I don’t like this mascara, it looks too clumpy on me and it makes me feel like I have ten long lashes but no definition at the roots. I really don’t like the lasting power. So it’s absolutely a pass for me.

I’m not a fan of these clumpy mascaras. I have been finding that they are either too thin and don’t lift your lashes at all, or super clumpy.

The brush made me think of the Too Faced Better Than Sex brush but sadly it doesn’t perform as well. It could’ve been a nice dupe though. What a bummer!

Aw what a total bummer – this mascara didn’t seem to have the effects you were hoping for. The original Maybelline Falsies mascara used to be my holy grail. Also, your close up shots of this mascara are incredible!!

Sorry to hear it wasn’t good for you, I actually saw alot of hype over this product too and brought last month and honestly it works amazing for me (thankfully) I am thrilled with it but it still doesn’t beat my favourite too faced better than sex mascara ? xx great review tho!
Thank you for reading, mascara is so personal and I know a lot of people who love it. I actually don’t like Better Than Sex too, it looks terrible on me. I have very thick lashes that point down so any heavy mascara like those two just weigh them down and look clumpy
