Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in the shade Rosewood.
This gloss is not new but it was recently launched back in action with the Dior Rosewood Collection. I actually have almost all the shades (I’m missing two) so if you want to see them reviewed I can talk about them.
Yet again, we all know by now that I love plumping glosses, not that I need them, actually my lips are my favourite part of my body, but I love the cold-tingly feeling they have.
You can get this from sephora.com and it retails for 34$.
The colour is a dark rose with golden reflexes.
The packaging for this lip gloss is a squared tube in hard plastic material, it’s super luxe, the shade name is written on the bottom.
The scent is incredible, I can’t put my finger on what it exactly smells like but it’s sweet and minty.
It’s very glossy, but not sticky, It doesn’t settle into fine lines. It has medium pigmentation.
Now about the volumizing effect. It works well and it’s not too intense. I can actually see the effect but I think is due more to the glossiness than to the formula itself.
The doe-foot lip gloss applicator is very classic so it’s very easy and precise to use. It picks up just the right amount of product, and you can cover your entire lips with just one dip.
On me, it lasts about 4 hours but the tingly effect lasts for 1 hour or so. It doesn’t fade.
- Colour: 7/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 8/10
- Pigmentation: 7/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Packaging: 10/10
I like this gloss, I like the effect but I personally prefer the original pink colour, it is really easy to apply. I like the volumized look but I think it’s due more to the glossiness than to the formula. The scent is so nice. The only downside is the price, that’s why I recommend the MAC ones I’ve reviewed last week over these.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
