Bali Body Moonlit, Rose Gold, Sunkissed Glow Stick | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Bali Body Glow Stick in the shades Moonlit, Rose Gold and Sunkissed.

If you were here last Summer you’d know I absolutely love their BB Cream so I was quite excited when they send these in exchange for the review, it goes without saying that my opinions are my own despite that.

In my Spring Trends post, I mentioned I want to use more cream products and what’s better than to start with highlighters? Of course, not all the shades will work on my face but I can definitely use them somewhere else.

COLOUR

• Moonlit is described as: soft shades of champagne and moonbeams as an ethereal glow.
• Rose Gold is described as: warm rose tones add depth and radiance to any complexion.
• Sunkissed is described as: deeper shades of bronze mimic rays of sunshine for a goddess-like glow.

PACKAGING

The packaging is a thick tube in a hard plastic material. The shade name is written on the bottom. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.

The cardboard box is simple but it tells you how to apply it.

FORMULA

The formula is very watery and the shimmer is quite subtle, you can wear it on the face or on the eyes.

Rose Gold is the most metallic so it looks beautiful on the face. I can kind of get away with both Moonlit and Rose Gold on my face but Sunkissed is perfect for a quick eye look.

They are easy to blend and have a cream to powder finish. They give you that beautiful glow from within. I bet I’m going to rock them all Summer long.

APPLICATION

The doe foot applicator has a hole in the middle that allows an easy application and it’s easy to blend with the finger. You have time to move it around but once it sets, you won’t be able to move it.

I find that they work amazingly both under or on top of powder but I prefer to use them on top.

Here I have Rose Gold in the inner corner, Sunkissed in the outer corner and lower lashline and Moonlit on the face.

On me, they last about 8 hours before starting to fade.

GRADE: A-

I love these highlighters, I love that they make your skin look fresh. The formula is amazing and the packaging is very pretty. They are incredibly easy to apply and they last a long time, even on the eyes. I’m sure I’m going to rock them all summer long. They are a bit more subtle than what I usually like but that makes them perfect for no-makeup-makeup days.
