Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the L’Oreal Brilliant Signature Liquid Lipstick in the shades Be Captivating and Be Uncompromising.
Technically they aren’t liquid lipstick, they remind me more of a very pigmented long lasting gloss that also kind of stains. They are similar to the Glossy Stains by YSL.
They are the sister product of the L’Oreal Rouge Signature Lightweight Matte Colored Ink I’ve reviewed this Fall but these are completely different.
I haven’t seen them in stores because they are so new but I got them here (the site ships worldwide) for about 15$ each.

COLOUR
- Be Captivating is the perfect peachy-pink nude.
- Be Uncompromising is a classic red.
PACKAGING
It has a very chic tube, I love the gradient and that you can see the colour at the bottom.
The name of the shade is on the cap but it doesn’t say anywhere the name of the lipsticks which I find quite annoying.
They have a really pleasant sweet scent but I can’t describe it.
FORMULA
This lip product it’s a glossy tint, which means that is going to stain your lips but it’s not too noticeable.
When you apply it is very liquidy and shiny but not runny. It’s quite long lasting but it does transfer if you touch it and it doesn’t bleed. So even if the red looks kind of scary, it’s not hard to wear.
To get an opaque finish you can layer them, the nude one looks patchy up close but it’s not noticeable from the distance and you can kind of fix it with your finger.
The formula is incredibly lightweight and not drying at all but they can feel sticky.
Application
The heart-shaped wand is PERFECT to put the lipstick precisely on, even without a lip liner.

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts about 4 hours before it starts to rub off on the centre of my lips. You can eat and it will slightly disappear in the centre of the lips but you can layer it again.

These lip tints are awesome. I’m so impressed by them. The nude shade has quickly become one of my favourite nude ever. The formula is amazing to work with. It goes on smoothly and it’s super comfortable. I have to say the applicator is amazing. I’ll definitely try more shades.
