Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer.
I recently got this concealer despite the fact I absolutely don’t like the Super Stay Foundation because it was too heavy and oily but I thought, I like high coverage concealer and my undereye is very dry so I could use the extra moisture.
You can get it here for 10,99$, it comes in 12 shades, I have the number 20 Sand.
PACKAGING
The packaging is really nice. I like the squeeze tube with a doe-foot applicator and it’s the same shade of the concealer with the shade name on top.
The applicator itself is a flat doe foot which I really like too. It picks up the right amount of product.

FORMULA
I have the shade 20 which is way too dark on me. I matched myself online so it was my mistake. I can still use it but I like my concealer to be lighter or the exact shade of my skin.
The concealer is nice a liquidy when you first apply it. It’s really easy to blend, I use a damp sponge but your fingertip will work too.
I have combo skin but mostly a dry undereye and this is way to dry on me. It makes my undereye look crapy and it enhances my fine lines.
It works well on the face but it doesn’t last on me.
EFFECT
As you can see I’m blessed with pretty light dark circles today but I have fine lines where my concealer tend to crease a lot.
It has light to medium coverage, so I don’t feel like it works for me. On top of that is very dry so it pretty much looks horrible on me.
Like you can definitely see it how more pronounced my lines are and it gets worst through the day.
LASTING POWER
I usually use a powder on top I find that with a powder it doesn’t crease on me. It lasts for 5 hours or so before fading completely but it gets drier and drier through the day so when I take it off I feel super dehydrated.
On my face it lasts about 1 hour.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 5/10
- Longevity: 5/10
- Application: 8/10
- Formula: 5/10
- Pigmentation: 6/10
- Packaging: 8/10
GRADE: C+
I pretty much only like the packaging and the way it applies but the formula is too sheer for my tastes and way too drying. The shade is bad and it doesn’t even work on blemishes. The lasting power is a bit meh too. Even if it’s affordable I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’m trying to find a concealer that would really look good in my under eyes as my dark circles are a WHACK. ? Anyway thank you so much for this review, Mimi! ❤️✨
I love the Dior one, looks like skin but covers perfectly and lasts all day x
I have terrible dark circles so I need help covering them. I guess this is not for me then
Sorry this one didn’t work for you! My mom bought it and I used it one day. Honestly, I remember liking it. I thought it was very thin and light. I don’t think the coverage deteriorated much on me throughout the day, but my under-eyes aren’t too dry. But I would need to use it again to really remind myself!
When I was about to take my makeup off at the end of the day, the rest of my face was very shiny but the under eye was so matt and dry. The contrast was insane!
Ugh, doesn’t sound the greatest!
What a bummer – I’ve been wanting to try this concealer since I love the foundation (it actually lasts quite well on my oily skin – one of the few foundations I can wear without needing to powder). However, I can see both in the photo and in the description that this really did not perform well.
Have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer? It is a little more emollient / natural compared to the Dark Circle Eraser concealer and one of my favorites at the drug store. It is often said to be a dupe for the NARS radiant creamy concealer. Also, for drugstore concealers I am enjoying the Revlon Candid Concealer (however, the formula is drier so it sets down super quickly).
I actually love the FitMe concealer but for whatever reason I can’t find it in stores here anymore. I mean is on Amazon so it’s fine but since I have easier options available I just go with them.
I haven’t picked up the NARS one in forever, it used to be my favourite concealer ever. The Dior one I use now completely replaced all the concealers I’ve ever used ahahah
Aww that’s a bummer it didn’t work out as well as one would hope but I appreciate your honest review of this product!
Thank you for reading ?
Love this honest review! I’ve not tried this one before, but I like full coverage under my eyes too. Little children in my life mean I always need strong concealer!
Well you better skip this one then ?
My face seems to be drier than what it used to be, so this wouldn’t work for me either. I love your honest feedback and will be looking through your site to find your absolute favorite products.
Thank you, I’m glad it helped x
Good review! I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you though. It sucks when concealers don’t do what their meant to do 🙁 I’ve been LOVING my elf hydrating camp concealer. It’s so good and a great dupe for the tarte shape tape which I love.

I actually haven’t tried either. I can’t get tarte here but I’ll give the elf one a go ?
I love your honest reviews. I need a good under eye concealer. I do like the applicator just wish it lasted longer.
Agree x
Thank you for your honest review.
You are welcome
It looks so hard to find a good concealer! I’m personally very lucky because I almost don’t have dark circles!
I don’t too but I have fine lines and I don’t want something that enhances them ?
