Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Catrice Clean ID Volume + Lengthening Mascara.
After the big disaster of the last Catrice mascara I’ve reviewed, I wanted to give their mascara another opportunity.
This one caught my interest because free from microplastic particles, added fragrances, silicone and oil, I’m not exactly sure why you should avoid these things but if you are this might be a good one for you. It is also vegan and has 92% of natural ingredients.

PACKAGING
The packaging is classic of mascara, you get all the info on the cap.
It has a slight hourglass brush which I really like because it grabs all the lashes.
FORMULA
The formula is quite thick and very black. Once it dries it weights your lashes down a bit so if you curl them you’ll have to do it again after the mascara is on (be very gently!).
Once it dries, it doesn’t smudge but it flake off. It doesn’t bother me much but it’s quite annoying nonetheless.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I always do two coats of mascara to get the best results. This mascara is very lengthening and volumizing. I also like to use it on my lower lashes.
I love the way it looks on my lashes but it’s terrible at holding a curl which is actually my main concern and the reason why I normally use waterproof.
LASTING POWER
It lasts all day, I find it fairly easy to remove, I don’t have the black halo around my eyes when I wake up.

I’m a bit torn with this mascara. I like the effect because it volumizes and lengthens my lashes beautifully but it’s awful at holding a curl, which is what I need the most. I have to use my eyelash curler again on dry lashes which might break them. It also flakes a lot which is quite annoying but it could also be the result of me curling my lashes dry. So I like it and if you don’t have problem with the curl of your lashes you might love it because it looks beautiful on.

OOOh, I don’t know about this one. I have very sparse eyelashes, so I wouldn’t want to have to re-curl them after applying.
Probably better stay away then! Mine are very strong
This mascara looks so lovely – I like that this mascara doesn’t contain plastic micro-particles since that’s more environmentally friendly, but now I’m concerned I need to be checking for this in other formulas??!
I don’t struggle with holding a curl with my lashes, but the Diorshow Iconic Overcurl is a favorite volumizing / lifting / curling mascara!! (Big price difference though, obviously)
The iconic overcurl doesn’t hold my curl either (I need waterproof) but it’s my favourite Dior mascara!
I love that it’s primarily natural, since I don’t worry about the curl I would like to try this.
And super affordable too, I bet you’ll love it!

The effect on your lashes is very noticeable here, so I love the amount of volume I see. Bummer that it flakes though because that would annoy me.
I think it flakes because I recurl them but yeah, I think it would be a good mascara on less complicated lashes ahha
