Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer in Butta Biscuit.
My journey in using all creams continues and the only thing I was missing was bronzer so I decided it was time to try this new Fenty Beauty one.
I got the second lightest shade because I was terrified to get a muddy effect and it works perfectly for my skin.
It took me a little longer to test because I am a COMPLETE amateur when it comes to cream products so it was a bit tricky for me to figure out the best way to use it.
You can get it at Sephora for 32$ and it comes in 7 shades.
COLOUR
It is a neutral brown not too cool-not too warm perfect for light skin tones. (If you are darker than me it won’t show up, but as I said they have a lot of shades).
PACKAGING
The packaging is absolutely stunning and luxurious I totally love it.
It is this gold mirrored hexagon, it comes with a mirror on the inside. It’s not super lightweight but it’s not heavy either and you have all the info in the back, honestly, is so beautiful I’m obsessed.
It comes in the classic graffiti cardboard box, I love it too.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth, it has a light–medium pigmentation. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference with face products and especially with creams.
It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture and I like it both on top of powder or underneath.
It has a cream to powder finish and it mashes perfectly with the skin.
APPLICATION
I use a stippling brush that’s not too dense and it’s very easy to use. You can use your fingers but I find I have more control with the brush.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome for a cream.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 10/10
- Longevity: 9/10
- Application: 9/10
- Formula: 9/10
- Pigmentation: 9/10
- Packaging: 10/10
GRADE: A+
This bronzer is stunning, it looks like naturally tanned, I prefer when face products are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the muddy-heavy effect but that’s ever more true with creams. The lasting power is amazing. The colour is perfect for me and it will look good with any kind of look. I also love the packaging.

Oh wow, 8 hours. How awesome! And I agree, that is some fabulous packaging.
So pretty!
So happy to hear that Fenty Beauty got an A+! Mac has traditionally been my brand for everything (including bronzer) but as I replace I’m planning to buy Fenty everything. LOVEE the packaging too.
Agree! I love MAC too a lot
I’m going to have to pick it up. I haven’t been able to tan at all (not that I do anyway), but this will give me the color I need.
It would be perfect!
Io amo follemente tutti i prodotti in crema, poi in estate sono davvero un must per me x
Comincio a capire ?
Your reviews are just always so amazing! You always make me want to expand my makeup collection <3 Great post, as always!
Thank you ?
I was waiting for this review! I might have to get this one day; I’ve heard too many good things about it now. I have the Fenty powder bronzer and love it, but I’m a cream lover through and through. A few Instagrammers I follow who are light-skinned also got this shade and said it worked beautifully on their skin, so I’d probably go for this one. (Although I’d want to see how light the first shade looks just to be sure.)
It is a tad too light for me, I can still use it, of course, but the darker shade is too dark! The powder is too warm for me but this has perfect undertone
Finding that perfect undertone is like finding a soulmate! ??
Ahhhahha
Super pretty colour and it made you glow! Love a cream product!
Thank you, I’m loving it ?
I have never used cream products like this one, so I appreciate your tips on application! It looks gorgeous on you in my opinion!!!
Thank you ? it was my first time too so I’m learning with you
I completely agree with you on the performance of this bronzer. I was nervous about the coconut oil in the ingredients, but don’t find that it breaks me out (which I’m glad about lol). A brush is my preferred way to apply cream bronzer, too! Less messy!!
PS I want the new slip shines SO SO bad OMG. ????
God same! There is a nude shade that has my name on ahahah
Wayyy less messy, I don’t have problem with coconut oil actually I didn’t even know it had it
It sounds great! I never really used a bronzer because my skin is very light and I’m so scared it won’t blend enough to make a subtle shadow!
Physicians Formula makes one that is super light, maybe you can start with that ?
Thanks for the recommendation!
i’ve never had the pleasure to try cream products and it seems like more and more as the beauty community learns about formulas, the better they get? i must try this at some point too because it looks sooo natural 😀
I agree, I feel like they are really having a moment so it’s best to try them now ?
to be honest, after reading this review of this bronzer i looked into this brand and saw they had a cream blush!! if i ever try a cream blush it has* to be a high end one LOL
I have the honest beauty one, it’s not super expensive but it feels high end. I’d love to try the Fenty one, there’s a colour I’m eyeing ?
What are all the bumbs all over it?
It’s a cream bronzer, it often happens, especially in summer. It’s part of the oils that are in the product, once you use it the first time is fine x
