Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Monochromatic Blush & Glow in the shade C02 Rose Duet from the Glow in Bloom Collection.
When I saw this blush online I knew I had to have it. The packaging was so pretty and I usually love Catrice blushes. I like that it has two tones you can use together or separate.
It comes in two shades, I wanted the other one (which is more peachy) too but it was sold out.
You can get it here for 6$
Colour
- The bigger shade is a satin warm pink.
- The smaller shade is a shimmery pink with gold reflex.
PACKAGING
The packaging is stunning: so sleek and fancy. I kid you not this is not a 5$ blush, the golden flower details are stunning.
You get all the info on the back.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The bigger shade has a light pigmentation and it’s kind of hard. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference with face products.
The shimmery shade is way more buttery, has a medium, buildable pigmentation. It glides on the skin, without enhancing texture as long as you don’t overdo it.
It doesn’t have any fallout and it’s not too chalky.
APPLICATION
The big one is not super pigmented but you can layer it, on the other end the small one get too much very easily so I recommend using it only on the top of the cheek almost like an highlighter.
SWATCH

Here you can see the big shade alone: Here you can see it with shimmery on top
LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 6 hours before starting to fade.

GRADE: A–
This blush is beautiful. I like the satin shade a little more because I prefer when blushes are less pigmented since it helps to avoid the clown effect. I do like the shimmer one, especially for night time looks. The lasting power is great. I absolutely love the packaging, I hope I’ll be able to get the other shade too.

I hate that I can’t wear pink blushes. Talk about that clown effect! They all look crazy on me. I tend to lean towards corals or browns.
This is a very flattering warm pink so it might work for you but corals and dark skin are an amazing duo!
The color here looks stunning. I also prefer blushes that are buildable and less pigmented too!
They are the best!
Looks great on you!
Thank you 💕
Oh such a beautiful shade of rose! I’m always looking for new blushes. With my skin tone I need a bit more pop though.
Maybe the shimmer side could work for you or they have a warmer shade
This blush looks gorgeous! I just love the color. I also really like the case it is in!!
So pretty right?
I don’t know why I’ve never been a blush girl. I love make up I always feel that I am too pink in the face. I need to play around with them more, these are gorgeous colors!
You should try a coral one or a more earthy tone x
This packaging is stunning!
