Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette.
If you saw my What’s In My Sephora Dream Cart you’d know how much I wanted to try Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup and it just launched at Sephora Italy, so OF COURSE I had to pick something and I’ve started with the product I wanted the most, the Pillow Talk palette.
I know this palette is nothing original but the shades in it are my kind of tones, I’ve been using it so much and I love the natural vibe it has. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

Colour
If you have used a Charlotte Tilbury palette I’d know they come with four shades with a specific use (according to Charlotte makeup style), it goes without saying you can use the palette however you like.
- Prime 1 – (shimmery ivory) Create a smooth base for your eye look.
- Enhance 2 – (matte rose) Build up the definition in the crease.
- Smoke 4 – (matte terracotta) Add drama in the outer corner.
- Pop 3 – (glittery rose gold) Finish your dazzling look with the shimmer.
PACKAGING
The packaging is absolutely stunning and luxurious I totally love it.
It comes in a cardboard box. For some reason, I was expecting a magnetic closure which it doesn’t have but other than that, it’s gorgeous.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth especially when you swatch it, it has medium pigmentation. You have to build up the colour a little but I love that in an eyeshadow.
They aren’t patchy and the colour selection is beautiful and very classy.
The formula of the glitter is a bit hard but that prevents most of the fallout which is amazing for glitter.
APPLICATION
All the shades blend easily with brushes but I prefer to use my finger for the glitter.

With a primer, they last about 10 hours before creasing.

This palette is perfection. I know it’s only four shades but they are the kinds of shade I’ll use over and over again. You know I love glitters so I love to have the option in such a compact palette. The packaging is luxurious, it blends like a dream, barely any fallout. I’m incredibly impressed by the lasting power too, I wore it for hours in high heat and not having creasing at the end of the day was unreal. Now I’m not crazy, I know it’s a very expensive palette, do you need it? Of course, no. But if you are like me and like to treat yourself you won’t be disappointed.
