Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the L’Oreal Skin Paradise Tinted Water Cream.
You know I love me a good summer tinted moisturizer and this L’Oreal one looked so interesting, I needed to try it but the first time I when to try it there wasn’t a shade that really matched me, they were all too dark or too yellow.
But since I recently started self tanning I could use a darker shade so I went and got it.
It’s not out in the States yet, but you’ll be able to get it from Ulta for about 12$, I have the shade 03 Light.
PACKAGING
It is a classic squeezy tube and it’s honestly so pretty, it has rose gold details and fake water drops all over it.

FORMULA
The formula is quite thick and sheer, it feels like water, but it has medium coverage but it’s buildable. The finish is quite dewy and looks very smooth on the skin.
Something that really impressed me is how it glides on the skin, it looks so natural on but my face looks incredibly smooth and poreless.
EFFECT
It has a dewy finish and medium coverage, it gives the skin a soft glow and it really looks like your skin but better. Personally, I like that you can still see my imperfections underneath because everybody has them and I don’t mind them.
I was a bit surprised about how much coverage, it as I was expecting something more light and for some people, this is still medium coverage but for me is a bit too much.
I mean it looks beautiful on but it’s not what I was expecting from a tinted water cream.
APPLICATION
The best way to apply it is by dabbing it on with your fingers and then, blend it with a damp sponge.
LASTING POWER
This tinted cream lasts for 6 hours on me before I have to retouch it.

GRADE: B+
I like this product but I wouldn’t call it a “tinted water cream”, this is a foundation, a very good one but a foundation nonetheless, and I felt a bit deceived by it if I’m honest, it’s not what I was expecting. That being said, it’s beautiful on, the formula is amazing and the packaging is stunning. It lasts all day despite the heat. Just keep in mind this is not as light as the name would suggest.

The packaging looks so pretty – I’m surprised by the coverage given the description! But I don’t mind more coverage 😂
I mean it looks nice and I’m using it but it’s now what I expected 😂
Sometimes I think it looks too much and sometimes it’s exactly the coverage I want but I’m not sure if that’s to do with the rest of my makeup. If you want something really light, the Lumene Skin Tint is my favourite but it’s expensive.
The new Dior one is pretty light but I got a shade that’s too light for me for now 😂

VERY interesting that this is more a foundation, than a tinted moisturizer. Hm, not sure how I feel about it now. The packaging looks so cute! Have you tried the IT Cosmetics CC Cream? If yes, is it similar to that?
Yes, I don’t want to use the hate but the It CC cream is a strong pass for me. The review will come eventually (I have other products I want to do first) but I don’t like it at all. I’ve tried the classic one and it’s sooo full coverage and dry on me… definitely no
Oh wow, really? I used it years ago and was kinda obsessed for a while, but stopped using it because my tube went off with a weird smell. I’m into much lighter coverage bases now anyway.
It’s too full coverage for my tastes and it’s both incredibly greasy and dry at the same time! 😂
