Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Superstar Lips in the shade Pillow Talk.
My second purchase from the brand since it launched in Sephora in Italy, I got the Pillow Talk palette last month and this is the lipstick. I’ve decided that I’m going to slowly build my collection each month getting a product to treat myself.
It took me a while to decide what lipstick to go for, I already have the lip pencil so I didn’t want the matte lipstick cause I could wear the lip liner on its own if I wanted that effect. Creamier lipsticks aren’t my thing so I skipped the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick too.
I couldn’t decide between this and the gloss. In the end, I went with this because I like shiny lipsticks and I could make it glossier if I wanted with another gloss.
I definitely prefer these kinds of lipsticks over glosses. It reminds me of my beloved Fenty Beauty Glazed Slip Shine Sheer Shiny Lipstick, just slightly less glossy.

COLOUR
The colour is a nude pink.
PACKAGING
The packaging is very pretty, everything from the box to the bullet, I love it.
It’s very lightweight and while that makes it more comfortable to use, it doesn’t feel very fancy. I was expecting something with more weigh for that price.

The scent is amazing, it’s vanillary and not overpowering.
FORMULA & APPLICATION
The formula is very creamy and it glides on really easily, it reminds me of MAC Lustre but it’s less melty which I absolutely love, the finish is quite glossy but not too much.
It looks darker in the bullet than it is on the lips.
It feels quite hydrating and it’s quite easy to apply, even without a mirror.

LASTING POWER
This lipstick lasts for 3 hours on me (without eating), since it’s so shiny I wasn’t expecting an incredible lasting time, but you can reapply it really easily.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this lipstick. The shade is the perfect dark nude for me. I like the formula since is so creamy and shiny, it’s comfortable and balmy, perfect for everyday wear. I bet I’ll wear it all autumn long. I like the packaging too. The lasting power is great for a sheer lipstick and overall I’m very happy with it.
