Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Guerlain Mad Eyes Brow Framer Natural Volume Fibre Brow Gel.
I saw this product on a recent Chloe Morello’s video and it looked so intriguing. It is a brow “pencil” but the brush is all spiky and after you twist it you use these spikes to draw hair like strokes. While also combing the brows.
I normally don’t review brow products but this was too interesting, I promise, it’s kind of hard to explain so I’ll leave you with the review so you can see it yourself.
You can get Guerlain from Sephora but this product is not available yet, you can find it on guerlain.com for 42$.
Colour
It comes in three shades, I got the second one but it’s too dark for me and the lightest one is too light.
That’s pretty much the only problem I have with this product, there aren’t enough shades. I’m not exactly hard to match so I can imagine a lot of people would have the same problem.
PACKAGING
The golden packaging is super luxe.
The brush is the interesting part though. It kind of looks like a hair brush with stiff silicone bristles.
You have to twist up the bottom part and the product comes out in the middle of the bristles and you literally just have to brush it through your brows hair.
Formula
The formula is gel like and tinted, it contains tiny fibers, it works beautifully on the brows and it’s not patchy.
You don’t need a lot the little dot I have on the picture is more than enough.
Application
The brush makes it soooo easy to use, you don’t need a separate spooly to comb through your brows and the result is super natural.
As a downside, the brush is not very precise so if you have to draw your brows from scratch it won’t work but you can use it in place of a brow gel and to add thickness.
I like to use it first and the define the brows a bit more with a pencil.

LASTING POWER
On me this lasts all day, I don’t find chunks of pencil on my cheeks at the end of the day.

GRADE: B+
This brow product is so nice. It is a hybrid between a pencil and brow gel. It’s the kind of product I’d use on an everyday base to get my brows decent but not too precise. The effect is very natural so I’d recommend it especially if you are not too good with brows because it’s incredibly easy to use. They should add more shades because the one I have is definitely too dark. Is it worth the price? Yes but only if you fall in the categories I’ve mentioned above, find a shade that works for you, don’t like sharp and precise brows and like to splurge on makeup. It’s a very innovative product and I haven’t seen anything similar before but I know it’s quite pricey.

I love a good brow pencil! My eyebrows are already super dark and bushy, lol, so this might make take them to the extreme!
You are lucky! I bet they’ll look amazing
I don’t know that I like splurging on makeup that much, but it’s good to know you recommend it IF I did feel like doing so.
Yeah it’s not something I recommend go out and buy but it is very nice and different
I hadn’t seen this one before, I do like the look of this. Shame about the lack of shades though!
Yeah that’s annoying but the product is good!
Lord knows I need help with my brows, I have barely there brows. Once I saw the applicator I was like OOOH yes!
AhahHah I love this
I need to at least give this one a try! I am always looking for different brow products!
Woah, I’ve never seen a brow product with an applicator like that before!
Omg it’s so cool if you don’t mind the splurge!
This is so interesting – I feel like these kinda micro-blade inspired brow products are becoming so popular now. The packaging def looks luxe, but I feel like I always end up going back to my traditional brow pencils lol. so boring of me but one of the few staples in my routine never go change! 😂😂
I usually use pencils too but since I have good brows already I don’t mind to switch and try new things
