Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatches of the L’Oreal Rouge Signature Lightweight Matte Colored Ink in the shade 116 I Explore.
If you saw my review of the other shades of this line (I Rule and I Enjoy) you know I love them, so when I saw this shade I thought I could pick it up for you.
It was one of the most looked for on google and I wanted to give it a go.
This shade is a medium brown nude.
It has a classic tube, usually, the name of the shade is on the cap but mine was missing the sticker. It doesn’t say anywhere the name of the lipsticks which I find quite annoying.
The heart-shaped wand is PERFECT to put the lipstick precisely on, even without a lip liner.
This lip product it’s a tint, which means that is going to stain your lips and last for a long time.
When you apply it is very liquidy once it sets it becomes matt and long lasting. It’s very smooth and not patchy at all but it needs a bit of layering.
The formula is incredibly lightweight and not drying at all, I can go hours and forget I have it on. It doesn’t transfer.
On me, it lasts about 6-7 hours before it starts to rub off on the centre of my lips and gets too uncomfortable which is rather impressive. You can eat and it will slightly disappear in the centre of the lips but you can layer it again.

These lip tints are awesome but I don’t like this colour on me. I think it really ages me but it would look amazing on a darker skin tone. The formula is amazing to work with. It goes on smoothly and it’s super comfortable. I have to say both the lasting power and the applicator are the things that make them so special.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
