Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the IT Cosmetics CC + Cream with SPF 50+.
This CC Cream is such a cult product so when it arrived in Italy I was excited to try it. I got a sample back then but the colour didn’t match me (as sample often do).
Through Summer though, I’ve been self-tanning so I needed a darker shade but didn’t want to commit to a foundation, so I dug my sample jar and found it so I could finally give it a go.
You can get it from Sephora for 39,50$, it comes in 12 shades and I have the shade Medium.
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty, I like the squeezy tube and I appreciate the pump as it disperses the right amount of product and it’s super hygienic.
It looks really chic but that pump is quite messy and will get dirty.
FORMULA & COVERAGE
The formula is quite thick, it’s definitely full coverage which I wasn’t expecting from a CC Cream.
It has a nice scent and SPF 50 which is great because you don’t have to use two products but I know it makes some people breakout so you’ll have to see yourself. It didn’t break me out though.
EFFECT
I really dislike the effect of this foundation on me, first, I don’t like that is so full coverage, but again, I normally don’t like full coverage products so that’s on me.
The other thing I don’t like is that it’s too greasy but dry. It makes my skin look shiny very quickly but it also clings to dry patches.
To be honest I don’t understand why people love it so much. You can see in the picture how much it enhances my texture while looking very shiny.
APPLICATION
My favourite way to apply it it’s with a damp sponge, I find that it makes it mesh with the skin a lot better.
LASTING POWER
After about an hour it gets really shiny and it starts to break on my oily areas.

I wanted to like this CC Cream way more than I do but it doesn’t work for my skin type. I like the packaging but it’s too full coverage for me plus the formula looks awful on me. The colour selection isn’t great too. I know I’m the odd one out on this because SO MANY people love it so I think if you can get a sample and try it first it would be better. Especially because I know that the sunscreen in it can make some people breakout.

I’ve never tried this one before. Honestly, I don’t wear a lot of foundation because I don’t like the feeling of it on my face. From your review, I wouldn’t like this one.

I HATE, both, It’s CC and BB creams. They never look good on my skin, but I always thought it was just me.
I normally like BB Creams but this one is awful!

I said this on IG, but you aren’t alone in complaining about the way it breaks apart. This is the reason I’ve stayed away from trying this!
From far away tho, the foundation looked great. Maybe it’s one of those foundations that looks good in photos / looks good far away but not IRL or up close??
I feel like it creates a lot of bumps up close and it’s really super greasy and super dry at the same time. I genuinely don’t know why people love it 😂😂😂
Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più da questo brand. Il correttore, ad esempio, copre…ma è pesantissimo. Tra le altre cose i prezzi sono davvero fuori mercato. La cc mi ha tentato, ma ho capito subito che non era il prodotto più adatto a me. Bacio x
La review del correttore uscirà tra un po’, l’ho provato anche io e concordo. Tutti ne parlano bene ma finora non ne sono rimasta impressionata neanche io x
I tried the illuminating version of this foundation and I disliked that one, so I was thinking about picking up the original one. I’m surprised to see that this one didn’t work for you either! I also felt like it was way too much coverage and the shade range is usually awful :/ Thanks for your review! x

Honestly I really liked this product, but I agree that the name is so misleading. Just call it a foundation and not a CC cream! For me it had a real beautifying effect, and I found it to be quite hydrating.
So it might work for very dry skin, on me it was a mess
