What makeup advice would you give your younger self?
Mimi: I have two:
- Stop with the thin brows. They are hell to keep clean and they don’t even look good!
- It’s ok to wear lighter makeup, even if you have acne, you don’t need it to be pretty. So if you don’t want to do it, don’t!
Julia: The transition shade in the crease must be your best friend, if you go straight up with blue, it turns out awful.

I’m not sure. I never really wore a lot of makeup and still. Maybe to pluck my brows more? Go easy on the eyeshadow when I did wear it?

Mine would probably be to not be afraid to wear eyeshadow because I never did until I was in college. Also, I think I could have chosen more flattering lip colors at times.

WEAR SUNSCREEN and MOISTURIZE!!! Oh, and leave your brows alone (I did the same thing, LOL!)
Great question! I’d tell myself to be bolder while I was still young. I thought I could only go bolder once older!
Don’t be so obsessed with your makeup staying perfect all day long; that’s really not realistic anyway. Also, wear more sunscreen!

Me too for the most part, but I was still obsessed with longevity all the time, and if a product ran, flecked or faded even just a bit, I was crushed! I took myself way too seriously, I think! 😄

For me, I would probably say, choose your foundation colour wisely 😂

I think it’s mainly the sidebar that looks different to me. Ah it’s been so long but I am definitely loving the aesthetic as I’ve always done 🙂
Haha yes! I used to for some reason, think I was darker than I really was. Foundation colour was also not well done back then too 😂
