Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Guerlain Meteorites Liquid Pearls in the shade 02 Pearly Gold.
I love me a good liquid highlighter and this Guerlain one looked so promising, plus my skin has been so dry lately, I need all the glowy stuff.
The shades of this as quite interesting, there’s three of them, with the darkest being a gold that’s definitely not dark enough, then they have a pink, that’s wayyy too pink, even for me and this one which despite the name is not gold at all, is more of a pink ivory. Totally my shade but kind of deceiving.
You can get it here for 45$
COLOUR
This shade is an ivory pink.
PACKAGING
The packaging is a metallic twist-up tube. The shade name is written on a sticker on the bottom. It is really nice and sturdy, I like it.
It has a sponge tip applicator that works well but is not very sanitary.

FORMULA
The formula seems very pigmented when you put it on but once it blends it’s very sheer.
It’s easy to blend and have a cream to powder finish. It gives you that beautiful glow from within but a bit too light for my tastes.
APPLICATION
The sponge applicator disperses the right amount of product and it’s easy to blend with the finger. You have time to move it around but once it sets, you won’t be able to move it.
I find that it works amazingly both under or on top of powder but I prefer to use it on top.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
On me, they last about 5 hours before starting to fade.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 9/10
- Longevity: 7/10
- Application: 7/10
- Formula: 6/10
- Pigmentation: 6/10
- Packaging: 8/10
GRADE: B-
This highlighter is very nice but not a must have, it’s very subtle and although it works for more light makeup days, it’s too sheer for my tastes. I also don’t love the applicator and the lasting power is nothing impressive either. For that price, I don’t think is worth it.

I love the shimmer on these. Perfect for the fall looks.
I agree x
Wow! That highlighter really IS pigmented. I agree, I don’t think it’s worth the price.
Yeah, there’s a golden shade that will look so good on you though x
Wow that swatch looked incredible & you’re right about the lit from within glow! CT’s liquid contour & bronzer have a similar sponge tip applicator but come in a squeeze tube. Also, the formula sounds kinda similar too!
Uhhh you meanie! Don’t tempt me ahah
Love how pigmented its and the applicator, but the longevity definitely not worth the money
Agree!
Nice! I love pearly make up!
Thank you 💕
The color is beautiful but yeah for that price you’d want it to last much longer!
Yep not the greatest x
This actually sounds like I would like it a lot! I love liquid highlighters; I really barely use powder highlighters anymore.
It looks good just a bit too sheer for me but perfect for everyday looks
