Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Powerfull 5 Liquid Lip Balm in the shade 030 Lychee Glaze.
Everything of this gloss/lip balm hybrid speaks to my soul, like the only thing I love more than glosses is lip balm so if you create a mix of the two with the prettiest nude shade, you know, I’ll love it.
I’m not even going to pretend, I’ve been wearing it since I got it and I definitely want more shades.
It comes in 8 shades and you can buy it here for about 5$.
The shade is a soft creamy pinky nude.
The packaging is very classic for a lip gloss.
The doe foot applicator has a point and it allows you to be quite precise, I love it.
I don’t particularly love the scent, it’s a bit plasticky but it doesn’t linger.
It’s very glossy, it gives a wet glow to the lips and that very plumped effect. It’s not sticky or gloopy.
Despite the nude shade, it doesn’t enhance fine lines.
The formula contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate and nourish the lips. It also contains vitamin E, shea butter, green tea, and goji berries, which makes the gloss quite hydrating.
The pointy doe foot makes it super easy to apply in one swipe, it doesn’t pick up too much product.
This lipgloss lasts for 2 hours on me (without eating), since it’s so shiny I wasn’t expecting an incredible lasting time, but you can reapply it very easily.
- Colour: 9/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 8/10
- Formula: 8/10
- Packaging: 8/10
I love this gloss, the shade is perfect for me. I like the formula since is so creamy and shiny, I like the packaging, it’s comfortable and perfect for everyday wear, I’ve been keeping it in my purse since I got it. It’s not as hydrating as a lip balm but it feels amazing on the lips. For that price, you can’t go wrong.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
