Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in the shade Kim KW.
The Hot Lips collection is dedicated to celebrities Charlotte has worked with and this one, of course, it’s inspired by Kim Kardashian.
You know me, I love a good pale nude, so this lipstick was calling my name, I have to say, at first, I didn’t love it as much as I thought I would, it was way too pale for me (I know, shocking), so I had to look for ways to make it work.
But when I found it, I fell in love, hard, it’s pretty much the only lipstick I’ve used in the past weeks.

COLOUR
The shade is a pale peachy pink nude.
PACKAGING
The packaging is very classic for a lipstick but super fancy and chic, I love it.
The lipstick itself has a squared shape that makes it sooo easy to apply.
It has a nice vanilla scent, pleasant but not overpowering.
FORMULA
The formula is a satin, it’s very creamy and smooth, it’s not patchy and it doesn’t settle into fine lines.
It’s very comfortable to wear and it’s not drying.
The shade alone looks awful on me, it gives me concealer lips and it’s bad. On youtube, I’ve seen a tutorial Charlotte did on Kim using and she used the Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk all over her lips and she dabbed the lipstick on instead of swiping it. That’s how I apply it too and I absolutely love it like this, it becomes the perfect nude for me and it makes my lips look huge.

It lasted 3 hours on me without eating, but it fades very nicely.

I really like this lipstick, I like the effect and the formula, it feels beautiful on the lips. I absolutely love the packaging and the shape makes it soooo easy to put on. The shade is not perfect but I once I figured out how to apply it I fell in love with it and I’ve been wearing it so much. The lasting power could be better.

I had a sample card of CT lipsticks before I become obsessed with them and I feel like there’s just something about them that makes all the shades work for me. Pale nudes look awful on me usually but I love the look of this over the lip liner ♥️

Hourglass is SUCH a good brand – totally worth the money in my opinion!
Idk I’ve only tried this and the powder, while I love this, the powder was nice but not groundbreaking maybe because I don’t have dry skin
