Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Huda Beauty Nude Medium Palette.
This palette came as a total surprise because my boss at work got it for me for Christmas and I was so not expecting it, but she nailed the gift. It was very thoughtful of her but of course, despite that my review will be honest.
I actually had my eyes on these palette when they came out, they have a Light, a Medium (this) and a Dark version to work for every skin tone but of course, you can use the one you like.
As you might know, I’m not the biggest fan of Huda’s eyeshadows but I tend to like the smaller palettes better than the big ones so I was excited to give this a go.

PACKAGING
This palette comes in a plastic sleeve but doesn’t have a box, it wasn’t exactly cheap so I’m kind of upset by it.
Other than that though, I love the palette itself, the packaging is very sturdy and pretty.
It contains 4 shimmers and 5 mattes but the individual shades don’t have a name.
PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
All the shades have a medium to high pigmentation, they are really creamy and easy to blend. They have some fall down so I recommend doing your eyes first and then the base.
Mattes: are insanely buttery and easy to blend.
Shimmers: are so nice and pigmented, but they are better if you put them on with your fingers.
APPLICATION
All the shades blend easily with brushes but the shimmery ones work best if you use your fingers and you press them on otherwise you have to spend forever layering them.
It doesn’t bother me but I know some people don’t like to use fingers and this is pretty limitating.

With a primer, they last about 8 hours before creasing.

This palette is really pretty. I love the colour story and it really inspires me. The formula of the mattes is incredible, the shimmers require a bit of layering but they are beautiful. Overall I’m impressed, I don’t think is a necessary palette, but if you like it, you won’t be disappointed.

The packaging for me is a bit meh – I know it’s called Nude Medusa but I don’t know, you almost expect the packaging to be more sexier than it is, no? 😂

It’s a good one, but I think I would have liked the Light one better
lol you know that I love Huda’s formula, but I agree with you that her shimmers tend to apply best with fingers. I love this color story and the design of the palette. This was such a lovely gift!
It just pisses me off that all the shades have this weird pink undertone and you know pink is my favorite color but if I pick up a shade it’s because I want that shade and not a pink version of it.
