Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Hourglass Unreal High Shine Volumizing Lip Gloss in the shade Child.
I saw Suzie Bonaldi using this gloss in this video and I completely fell in love with the way it looked on her lips.
I love love love to use it paired with a brown lip liner and I kid you not, I’ve been wearing it no-stop. It’s quite pricey though, you might want to read the review first!

COLOUR
The colour is a peach pink.
PACKAGING
The packaging for this lip gloss is a squared tube in hard plastic material, it’s super luxe, the shade name is written on the bottom.
The scent is incredible, I can’t put my finger on what it exactly smells like but it’s sweet and minty.
FORMULA
It’s very glossy, but not sticky, It doesn’t settle into fine lines, despite the light shade. It has medium pigmentation.
It’s slightly tingly. It works well and it’s not too intense. I can actually see the effect but I think is due more to the glossiness than to the formula itself.
APPLICATION
The flat round doe-foot lip gloss applicator is amazing, so it’s very easy and precise to use. It picks up a bit too much product but I don’t mind it too much.
I like to use it alone but I love it paired with the NYX Professional Makeup Slim Lip Pencil in Nude Beige.

On me, it lasts about 2 hours but the tingly effect fades almost immediately.

I love this gloss, I like the effect, especially with the NYX lip liner. It is a bit tricky to apply because the applicator picks up too much product but I don’t mind. I like the volumized look but I think it’s due more to the glossiness than to the formula. The scent is so nice. The only downside is the price.

This is a color I enjoy and it looks nice. However, as you mentioned, the price is a bit much. I don’t think I could spend $30 on one lip gloss.

I have one of these Hourglass glosses in a mini that I got as a gift-with-purchase two years ago (can’t remember the shade off the top of my head), and they are LUSH! So soft and pillowy but not sticky at all. Love this shade on you, what a classic.
