Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Maybelline Cheek Heat Sheer Gel Cream Blush in the shade 30 Coral Ember.
This blush looked so interesting and my skin has been quite dry lately so I thought a cream blush would help.
I’ve heard mixed reviews on this so I decided to give it a go and see for myself.
You can buy it from Ulta for 7,99$ and it’s available in 6 shades.
COLOUR
This shade is a natural peach.
PACKAGING
The packaging is super simple, I like the squeezy tube because it’s super hygienic and you don’t waste any product.
It’s easy to use and I like that the colour inside matches the shade of the blush.
I also like the paint tube kind of look. It’s adorable.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA
The formula is quite soft and smooth, it has a light pigmentation. It’s almost too sheer where I feel like I have to use another blush on top of it to make it visible.
It isn’t streaky or clumpy, it doesn’t enhance pores or texture but I prefer to use it under a powder.
APPLICATION
I put a dot on the back of my hand and tap it on my cheek with my fingers.
SWATCH

LASTING POWER
On me, it lasts around 5 hours before starting to fade.
RATINGS:
- Colour: 8/10
- Longevity: 8/10
- Application: 8/10
- Formula: 5/10
- Pigmentation: 3/10
- Packaging: 8/10
GRADE: C+
This blush is pretty but very sheer. I like the formula, I like the packaging and how it applies but I can barely see it on my cheek so I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe a darker shade would be better but this isn’t good.

I love how easily this goes on and the convenient tube. You also can’t beat the price!
SO GOOD!
I always appreciate your honesty when it comes to these products! It helps me to make the right choice.
You are welcome!
Thanks for the review! This sounded pretty cool, but it does look super sheer. I love the idea of it though!
It’s nice!
I think it’s hard to find a good blush. Bummer the peach didn’t work out. It seemed like a lovely shade.
It is, just very sheer!
Jessica Braun didn’t love these either when she reviewed the on YouTube so I wasn’t surprised by the “meh” review. If you can purchase these in Italy, Flower Beauty’s cream blushes are a dupe for the Glossier Cloud Paints!
Can’t get Flower beauty 😞 but yeah, I’m using it a lot, it’s just annoying that is so sheer, I like sheer blush but this is a bit too much
This is a shame. Can it be built up at all to look more pigmented? Sometimes that’s the case with cream blushes…
No it’s just that the formula is too sheer, it looks nice for layering though
Bummer!
The sound of these got me interested but I’m sad you didn’t really like the pigmentation.
It’s soo sheer!!! 💔
