Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be another: Mimi & Julia Ask.

How do you organize your makeup?
Mimi: I keep most of my collection in the classic IKEA Alex Drawers (I have three drawers I use) but I have a Chanel makeup bag where I keep my everyday essential, that way it’s easier to have everything I need on a daily bases handy.
Julia: So, I didn’t find a container for the lipsticks, so I put them in glasses, which also allowed me to easily count them, I have 30 divided into 5 glasses.
The other makeup products fit in a kitchen cutlery container which is obviously divided into compartments. And I have: a compartment with everyday things (eyeliner, mascara, concealer …), one with the palettes, the one with the blushes, one with the highlighters and one with everything else (like eye shadows that don’t never use, colored pencils etc).

I need to show this to my daughter. Her makeup is every dang where. She has some drawers but they are barely used.

I have a 3 tiered rolling cart that I keep behind my bathroom door to hold all my stuff. I also have a pallette that’s magnetic that holds all of my face stuff-highlighter, foundation, bronzer, etc. It’s through Seint! It’s the best.

The small cabinet in our guest bathroom houses all my makeup (there’s no shower in that bathroom so I don’t have to worry about steam/mold). But I’m actually really bad with makeup organization. It’s very, very roughly organized in these clear Muji containers I got years ago.
I’d like to have prettier containers because right now I’m using random boxes
I keep most of my makeup products in a drawer of my IKEA Malm dresser, divided between containers. But as the space is limited and my collection is growing, some products (like foundations in a glass) are stored in the bathroom cabinet.
Makeup collection growing is the mood 😂
