Today’s question is: “What product(s) should you get rid of but you still keep?”
Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be another: Mimi & Julia Ask.
Where we are going to ask you a beauty related question and we want to read your answers so make sure to leave a comment.
If you have a question for next week you are free to ask and I’ll make sure include it in another post and to give you credit for it.
What product(s) should you get rid of but you still keep?
Mimi: Two palettes, the Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Palette and the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette.
Both palettes were a huge disappointment and very expensive but I keep the Huda one for the matte pastel tones and the Natasha Denona one for the yellow. I rarely use those colours but I like to have them just in case.
Julia: The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation, the formula doesn’t work for me, it’s thick and gloopy. The shade I got is also too red for me.
I keep it because I’ve used it once on my sister and it looked good on her but I’ll have to throw it away eventually, I just haven’t yet.

NOW IT’S YOUR TURN: LEAVE US A COMMENT SO WE CAN START A CONVERSATION.

Love,
ABH Sutry palette. I’m not a fan of ABH formula and I mostly get the same looks from it. But I keep it, don’t know why, sometimes I use brown matte as transition shades for looks I do with other palette. But s soon as I find an alternative to it – a nude palette with cool-ish shades – Sultry will go.
I’m not a fan of that one either
The Huda Beauty Desert dusk palette and Morphe x James Charles palette. I loved them at first but tbh, I really dislike both formulas and I don’t know why but I cannot bring myself to throw them out. Also, the James Charles palette is too big to fit anywhere and I don’t use it anymore cause I don’t work as a makeup artist anymore. So it’s not really useful for me.
I know we have LOTS of palettes that we should probably get rid of. They are years old, but the colors are still so pretty.
I go through my makeup every few months and find so many things I don’t use any longer. I always end up phasing out eye shadow because I go back to the 2 or 3 that shades that I like.
I have so many foundations in different colors for when I’m tan in the summer. I should probably throw them away but hate the thought of spending so much money on something I use so infrequently!
I should probably throw out the powder compact I’ve had since high school (I graduated in 2008), but at this point I feel kind of committed to keeping it as long as possible.
Oh my gosh, SO. MANY. EYESHADOW. PALETTES!! I can’t even name them all. It’s a category that I barely ever buy these days because I have so many I just don’t use.
Hahahahah
