Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Catrice Lift Up Volume & Lift Mascara.
Now, I don’t normally have the best luck with their mascara but to be honest, I liked the packaging of this one, I’ve then realised it was waterproof.
As you might know, for a while, I’ve only used waterproof mascara because my lashes wouldn’t stay curved but after I started doing lash lifts a few months ago, I didn’t need it anymore. In this case I’ll test it for longevity since, going into summer, some of you might want a waterproof option.
You can buy it here for 5$.
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty classic for a mascara.
The brush is very specific. It’s a silicon wand, it’s long and has a bubble of spikes at the top to reach the corner lashes.

FORMULA
The formula is quite thick and very black, if you are not careful it tends to transfer on your lids when you apply it.
I always get the black dots on my browbone at the end of the day because my lashes are quite long so it’s safe to say, it’s not waterproof, or long lasting.
EFFECT & APPLICATION
I always do two coats to get the best results. This mascara is very lengthening but not too volumizing. I also like to use it on my lower lashes.
I don’t hate it but I don’t like it either, mostly because I like a mascara that does it all and not just a lengthening one.
LASTING POWER
It lasts all day (apart from the black dots on the browbone), I find it fairly easy to remove. I wouldn’t say it’s waterproof so if you are looking for a long lasting product, this isn’t.

GRADE: B-
I’m a bit torn with this mascara. It doesn’t look bad on my lashes but I like more volume, on top of that, it should be waterproof and it definitely isn’t. I don’t particularly like the black dots but almost all mascaras do it on me so I just have to clean it every couple of hours, but in this case, it annoys me because this mascara should be waterproof therefore I find the name misleading.

I’m with you, I like to get more volume out of my mascara. Great review!

I like it on you! I agree, it should definitely be waterproof!
It’s not at all
This wouldn’t work for me if it’s not waterproof. I tend to cry easily, so I need waterproof 😉
I feel you 😂
My absolute favorite mascara is from Thrive Causemetics – it’s called Liquid Eyelash Extensions. It makes my eyelashes look so long! And it doesn’t give me raccoon eyes – which I HATE! Easy to take off each night too, not waterproof though so if you’re looking for that, not for you. lol
I don’t think we have Thrive here
I am also one who likes volume and lengthening mascaras. I’m also not a fan of the silicone wands for some reason/
I tend to like soft bristles better too
It actually does look really pretty on your lashes, all things said. There’s something about the packaging that I really like looking at as well; you don’t see many mascara tubes that are almost periwinkle!
Right, there sould be a market for it, I love that shade
Me too, I’m so attracted to it! The beauty industry could make me buy anything in that color 😂.
Ahhahaha
