Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Liquid Foundation.
This foundation is a cult but I always thought it would be too full coverage for my tastes and I actually bought it for my sister because she need a new one.
I ended up getting a shade that was way too light for her but perfect for me so I decided to give it a go and see if I could like it.
You can buy it from Ulta for 6,49$, it comes in 20 shades and I have Nude Ivory.
PACKAGING
This foundation comes in a glass bottle which is quite fancy for a drugstore foundation.
I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the scent, it smells like play dough for me which is kind of gross but doesn’t linger.
The applicatore is actually a spatula that you use to dot the foundation on your face. I love it. Like actually love it because I usually put foundation on the back on my hand and then dot it on my face, this way I cut a step and dot it straight to my face. It might not be the most hygenic way but it makes my life so much easier.

FORMULA
The formula is quite thin but not too runny.
It has medium coverage but it’s buildable. The finish is natural and looks very smooth on the skin. It doesn’t separate and it’s not greasy.
Something that really impressed me is how it glides on the skin, it looks so natural on but my face looks incredibly smooth and poreless but like I’m not wearing anything.
EFFECT
It honestly looks incredible on, it doesn’t have much coverage but you can see how good it makes my skin look.
I feel like a lot of skin type will love it.
APPLICATION
My favourite way to apply it’s dabbing it with the spatula on the face and then blend it with a damp sponge, I find that it makes the foundation mesh with the skin beautifully.
SWATCH
LASTING POWER
This foundation lasts for 5 hours without blotting. If you have drier skin than me it will last longer. Apart from blotting, it lasted all day.

GRADE: A–
I really like this foundation, I love it for when I have a long shift at work because it lasts a very long time. It’s easy to wear and it doesn’t look like you are wearing anything. I like the natural finish and the coverage. I also love the packaging and the applicator, so practical. The shade is a perfect match for me and I’m so happy it comes in so many. For the price, it’s a must.

Wet n Wild has been around since I was a teen! That was always my go-to!
This foundation is so good!
Lovely review, I actually heard wonderful review about this foundation and I’ve always been curious to try it out. I love foundations that give natural look
I think you’ll love this one!
Wet N Wild has some great products lately, I love the finish!!!
Pretty right?
The price is right!! Looks great, too!
Thank you 💕
I do not wear a lot of foundation these days like I used too, but the coverage looks great.
It’s nice
I never got on with this foundation, it had like a weird paint smell or it did when I tried it. Looks lovely on your skin though
It has the paint smell but I really like it on me
I do like a medium coverage foundation…being buildable is always nice as long as it doesn’t get cakey!
No cakey at all!
Have never tried any coverage products from Wet n’ Wild before, but this sounds lovely. If I’m going to wear a proper foundation, it’s gotta be easily blendable and have a skin-like finish; and this seems to check those boxes! Will definitely keep this in mind for future purchases.
Yes, I’m the same, can’t deal with heavy stuff
