Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Catrice Clean ID Matt Liquid Liner.
Ok, so you know I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to eyeliner, I definitely prefer the expensive ones because they last longer. I got my Charlotte Tilbury one almost a year ago, I use it every day and I still have a lot left. So even if it’s 30$ I only buy it once a year which to me makes it worth it.
Anyway, I love the Catrice Clean ID line so I’ve decided to give this one a go.
This Clean ID is super interesting and more sustainable, basically it is:
- Fragrance free.
- Suitable for sensitive eyes
You can buy it here for 4$.
The packaging is so pretty and looks very fancy. It is the classic felt tip liner (not a pen which is what I usually use).
The felt tip is quite stiff and long.
The formula is very liquidy, not to the point that it bleeds, but it’s easy to apply and it doesn’t drag the lid.
It’s very black and matte, which is incredible, one of the most matt eyeliner I’ve ever tried. I love the look.
It’s a felt tip liner which I definitely love, but with this kind of formula, I always make mistakes because it picks up too much product and I have to wipe it off a few times.
When I use liquid liner I tend to skip primer so it has to last well without it (on me that’s a mission).
This liner lasted 12 hours without smudging or bleeding but it’s still easy to remove.

I love this eyeliner, I love the colour and the packaging. I think the lasting power is amazing too. The only problem I have is that the application is a bit different than what I normally use so I’m not super skilled with it and I prefer the pen because it gives me more control. But if you like this applicator you are going to LOVE this formula because it’s incredible and so affordable.
I really hope you guys enjoyed it, don’t forget to like, comment and share to let me know all your thoughts and if you have any question.
