Dior Backstage Coral Rosy Glow Color Awakening Universal Blush | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review and swatch of the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Color Awakening Universal Blush in the shade 004 Coral.

This blush has been around for years, at least the Pink one, this Coral one came out when they repackaged it last year. I love the pink one so much you can barely see the writing on top anymore and I wanted this one so badly ever since it came out, and last week, I’ve decided to treat myself.

The Pink one has gone viral on TikTok because someone said it was Kylie Jenner’s favourite but both her and Ariel (her MUA) said he never used it, which I find hilarious. Either way, I love it and I was ecstatic to finally have this shade too.

COLOUR

In the pan, it looks like a really peachy coral. When you put it on it makes you look naturally flushed and has the most natural effect.

PACKAGING

The packaging is more minimal like the Backstage line is, I love it. It’s sturdy and compact which makes it easier to carry around.

It doesn’t have a mirror though, just a slightly blurry reflective surface.

PIGMENTATION & FORMULA

The formula is quite soft and smooth especially when you swatch it, it has medium pigmentation. You definitely have to build up the colour which as I said in the past is my personal preference for face products.

It doesn’t have any fallout and it’s not too chalky. It doesn’t enhance pores or texture.

APPLICATION

It is not super pigmented but you can layer it.

On me, it lasts around 8 hours before starting to fade which is awesome and definitely true to name.

This blush is stunning, it looks like you are naturally flushed, I prefer when blushes are less pigmented because it helps to avoid the clown effect. The lasting power is amazing. The colour is perfect for every day and it will look good with any kind of look. If you don’t mind splurging on these kinds of products I highly recommend it.
