Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Brow Styling Wax | Review

Hi Darlings, today’s post is going to be the review of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Brow Styling Wax.

If you are familiar with my content you’d know that Thursdays are usually Mimi&Julia Ask days but that format wasn’t making me happy anymore so I’ve decided to add a review. I’ve not done it before because makeup is expensive but I have a bit more financial freedom now so it felt right.

Anyway, I got this brow wax in the Sephora Advent Calendar (you can see the unboxing in this reel) and it was the product I was most excited about.

I have the NYX one which is allegedly a dupe for this but I wanted to compare them and see for myself. Spoiler alert, this one is so much better.

PACKAGING

I suppose it would come in a box but since mine is from the advent calendar I don’t have it.

The packaging is a plastic jar with a clear gel inside. It looks empty but it’s not. Overall I like it, it’s easy to carry and very pretty.

Formula

The formula is gel-like and completely clear.

You don’t need a lot and it actually works, it keeps the brows up without giving them a white cast and it’s incredible. I was a bit scared to use it the first time but it’s really easy.

The effect is very intense, you definitely see it right away which I love.

Application

You’ll need a separate spooly to use it. I got a cheap one from amazon. You barely tap the spooly in the gel and brush your brows up.

Once it dries you can use a pencil/brow pen to fill the gaps. You can do it before but if you want the brushed up look you’ll need to do it after to see where you need to draw the hair-like strokes.

LASTING POWER

On me this lasts all day. If my brows drop for whatever reason I just brush them up again and they stay in place.

I love this brow gel, I love the look and the packaging. The application is great and it lasts all day even in the heat. I definitely get the hype and if you can find it I totally recommend it. I prefer it to the NYX one because I find that this one lasts better but I have very thick hair so you might not need this much hold.
